The picture tells it all, awesome product! 9 year’s accumulation of oxidation is gone in less than 10 minutes, my headlights look brand new again. Don’t have the “before” picture but the upper half of the lamp was totally foggy and yellowish. Will buy again and clean regularly, highly recommend.

Cloudy headlights are bad, not only for aesthetics but for safety. Instead of throwing light directly ahead to illuminate the road, oxidized lenses diffract the light, giving the cover that "old car glow." Such was my '99 Buick.I had watched involved DIY videos and even owned a restoration kit (the kind with a drill extension pad and rubbing compound), but didn't want anything so involved (or where I might accidentally damage the surrounding paint). So, I purchased *this* product thinking it was a multipack of those petroleum-based wipes one might find at a car store which *temporarily* fill tiny pits and scratches to make headlights *appear* clear.But NOPE -- this is the REAL THING. And it was easy-peasy. The kit comes with several prep pads and two finishing pads (each in a sealed packet). It also comes with what look like Nitrile gloves. The instructions say to vigorously wipe the headlights with a prep pad (using a small portion of the pad at a time), turning it and repeating until the pad no longer gets discolored. That didn't make sense to me but I went ahead. And I was dubious as the wiping seemed to initially remove oxidation only to leave the lenses more dull. Nevertheless, I kept on until the prep pad (it took two) no longer discolored. I'll admit I was not happy with the result -- even after trying to clean any "residue" they were still "cloudy".However, when I took the finishing pad and, as instructed, gently wiped from side to side on the "deoxidized" lenses -- IT WAS MAGIC! What was previously opaque became instantly transparent. I was gobsmacked at how fabulous my headlights look and how it's lasted. I'll admit the prep was a bit of work, but I'd rather use a little "elbow grease" than to risk a drill careening across the paint. It is important to note that the finishing pad purports to be a sealant with UV protection -- so I have high hopes of it lasting a long time.

My headlights were not terrible, but I was noticing that the light was weaker than usual. This product did get rid of a lot of haziness, but not 100% of it. For the price and the fact that no tools are required, I think this is worth a shot.

I read all the reviews and looked at all the photos on here and was excited to use these on my "new" 2012 Prius. It had a bit of headlight fogging but wasn't too bad, but I knew it would look better if I could fix the fogging. The other kits scared me a bit (I'm not in the market to buy new headlight covers) so this looked great.I agree with everyone saying mask and gloves. Good gloves.I followed the instructions and completed the right side. As everyone said, after step 1, it looked very foggy, but these reviews had prepared me. The protection wipe made it shine. Then I did the left side the same.They looked pretty good when I finished. I stupidly didn't have my phone so I don't have good before and after photos.About 8 hours later, I went out to my car to get some stuff and checked the headlights. They looked the same as they did before: not bad, but definitely manufactured in 2012 and then parked in the sun.Rereading these reviews, I hear that people spent 20-30 minutes using the oxidation wipes? I did it for a long time but certainly not that long. I also heard that the clear coat should be put on extremely sparingly... which I may have failed at because I love shiny things.I'm going to try this one more time sometime soon with the mentioned adjustments and fingers crossed it'll work better. I'm very jealous of the other reviewers.

This product does not provide enough wipes to remove more than the minimum amount of oxidation. The headlights were starting to yellow, so the oxidation was not severe. We followed the directions on the box to the letter and after using the wipes as directed were left with a sticky residue (which was left-over oxidation that the drying wipes could not remove). I am forced to purchase another box of the product in order to complete the job. I can't drive my car around with the tape protecting the body of the car on it, plus this is Florida so there would be bugs stuck in the tape and the sticky residue. A terrible product. Plus when I called them they said they would send me an email so I can tell them what the problem is and they would give it to their "research" staff to handle. I'm doing that and perhaps they will reimburse me for the second box I will have to get overnighted in order to finish the job.
