Do not buy this product. No clear instructions on how to use online provided.

When I had a Droid, there are apps that allow you to record phone conversations. IPhone doesn't allow those apps, only a three way calling scenario. I only record business phone calls to help me make notes later. I tried a device that connected via Bluetooth but, had to be used as a phone, was very small and sound quality poor. This device serves it's purpose. You have to use a magnifying glass to read the instructions but, it works. I download the files on my computer, listen, and make notes that I missed on the call. Four Stars because the instructions could be more clear and larger.

I have been in great need of a call recording system for my cell phone. If you've done any research yourself for such devices they are hard to find with the features I'd like.My idea of a great product for this is a straight up 'in-line' recording system. From what I read in the product description, this product met that. As far as recording quality, playing the recording back on the earphones was very clear. These also pick up ambient sound very well as well so choose your calling location carefully! The instructions are written in semi-broken English, but are manageable.Now the ugly, I attempted to plug the unit into my mac to download the recordings. I tried the micro USB cable that came with the unit, but my mac did not detect the device. I tried two other micro USB cables that I'd used on other items to verify they worked. Still couldn't detect the unit. Switched to a windows machine and had the same issue.I turn to the seller and ask for help. The reply I get is: "Please insert more than a few times, it may be that the interface is loose." If they had read my very detailed explanation, they would have known that I had already tried a combination of six times at least. If the 'interface is loose' then this sounds like an issue that might require replacement. Nothing more from the seller.I contacted Amazon support through chat on the site. I was advised the seller, in this case, does not accept returns. Had I know this earlier I would NOT have made the purchase. A seller/manufacturer who won't back up their product does NOT need my business! Thankfully, Amazon ate this one and issued me a refund for this product.I attempted to purchase a replacement, but now they are showing 'unavailable' with no date of replenishment.

Despite the item description on Amazon mentioning that no application is required to use the device, as it supposedly has internal memory, this is directly contradicted by the user manual. Indeed, the device attempts Bluetooth pairing whenever the record button is pressed and is not recognized as a USB device either.
