I have been breeding cats for over 30 years and I have used many high quality products and am always researching and comparing. I compared this to many brands several years ago and found it to be one of the Top Rated. What I like about it:- Easily digestible- Cats eat less of it because their body maintains and uses more of it (they get what they need).- There is less waste (less scooping) and best of all...- There is almost NO ODOR to their poop. I could hardly believe it, but it's true.- Because of less poop and low odor your litter will last longer as well (another savings)- The benefits just keep adding up!No matter where you place a litter box, the less odor the better. It's amazing. I began feeding this to my pregnant females before, during and after kitten delivery and found it to improve coat and overall health...which producing beautifully healthy kittens at birth and continuing through delivery to their new homes. Our mom's return to a healthy weight and do better physically because we use it this way.I honestly can't rate it highly enough. There are many types of kitten formulas and this is our favorite. NOTE: Cost can be quite high and the BEST PRICE we've ever been able to get it elsewhere was $18.99 for the 7 lb bag. So when this was offered for $13.99 we ordered the sellers limit of 5 and will return for more. I love that this food helps me save on kitty litter!!

Kittens love it! Just watch your servings, my two kittens got too fat.

The three semi-feral “neighborhood” kittens we feed seem to like it better than other dry foods including Purina Complete Cat Chow, Purina Kit and Kaboodle, Meow Mix, other brands of kitten food, and when necessary, various hairball products. We also feed about eight or nine other stray cats and the occasional opossum or skunk. They all prefer canned food but will eat dry food when that’s what’s available. The kittens are ten months old and look full grown, but we will keep this kitten food for them for two more months until they reach adulthood, so they get all the nutrition they need to fully develop. One thing I try to remember to write in reviews, if I had it to do over again knowing what I know now, would I still buy it? Absolutely.

I will buy this food from amazon again, the prices on here are better than in the pet store. I gave it 4 stars just because my 4month old kitten wasn't thrilled about it when I mixed it into his original cat chow brand, he even ate around the Blue buffalo bits at first. Not sure why because now he seems to enjoy it fine. After 2months on this solid formula I have noticed his coat seems shiny and silky and overall I think he seems more agile, strong and active. Also he seems to feel full with less amounts of food nowadays which is awesome. So, not sure how much of this is actually the food change or just him growing up but either way I'm keeping him on this better quality, affordable formula until it's time for adult cat food..then we'll see what he thinks of that lol

When I adopted my 2 kittens this is what they were already eating. I kept this as their dry as they enjoyed it. They are now a year old.
