Only Works On 2009 Honda Accord 2DOOR COUPE
will not work with 2009 Honda Accord.EDIT:I removed my one star review because it was in part my lack of research, but also i have learned to trust amazon. While yes this may work with a 2009 Honda Accord Sedan /4DOOR (i cannot confirm) this will in fact now work for a 2009 Honda Accord Coupe /2DOOR (which i can confirm). So to recap, the key fob for sale here with FCC ID: KR55WK49308 will not work on COUPE/2DOOR Accords but should work with SEDAN/4DOOR Accords.I found that the key fob with FCC ID: MLBHLIK-1T does in fact work for COUPE/2DOOR Accord. I had my local car locksmith program it and cut it, everything works perfectly. I could only find the brains for this key fob, and i purchased it here and replaced it inside the one that i bought from amazon. Only issue was I had a terrible time getting the screw out that keeps the case ...
If your existing key problem is just the electronics you can consider just take out the guts of the new key and putting in the old case and avoid the cost of getting the key cut. I did just that. Only issue was I had a terrible time getting the screw out that keeps the case closed. Have to be able to open that to change the battery at some point. Programming instructions were perfect and programming was a snap once I got the hang of doing two keys. Only reason not 5 stars was the problem of getting the screw out. Looks like the portion of the screw head was malformed and would not accept a Philps head or regular screwdriver.

Best deal for a new remote fob!
The key fob we had broke. The key worked in the ignition. This wasn’t a problem until someone broke something in the door lock trying to break into the car. We were unable to lock the car. I contacted the dealership who wanted $300 to program a new key fob. A locksmith said he’d give us a “deal” of $200.We bought this key, programmed it off of a you tube video. We were able to remotely unlock/lock the car. We still use the key for the ignition as we didn’t spend the extra money to cut the key.

Does NOT open 2011Honda Pilot Hatch
The door locks worked (locked & unlocked). The car trunk button opens the glass window within the hatch. That is not helpful. I expected the entire hatch to open.Note: The 2011 Honda remote includes an integrated transponder. The new remote will NOT start the car. Honda forces you to go to the dealer (or any shop / locksmith with the required programming hardware).BTW. I incorrectly thought my remote had failed. Turns out I received a defective batch of batteries. (Insert facepalm emoji here)(Rating based on my experience with another vehicle.)

Good quality. Remote works great! But signal range is LOW !
Arrived in a neat condition. Worked fine on very first attempt on my 2010 Accord. Remote can be self configured. Transponder needs programming at locksmith after they cut the key. But i am using it as remote only as i have lost one key. Satisfied with the quality.update: The range for this keyfob is only a few meters. I can barely access my car from beyond 10 meters.

Check your local locksmiths before purchasing.
The product itself seemed durable. Unfortunately I could not give the product a chance. I would recommend checking with your local locksmith or dealer before buying. I wasn't savy enough to program it and couldn't find anyone in my area that would engrave the key. Instructions have you program it with a professional and my local hardware stores do not handle car key engraving. My honda dealers wouldn't touch it either and I decided to stop trying to find a locksmith at that point. Honda dealers would program it for $60 but would not engrave it saying third party product metals have ruined their machines and they won't work with any, not to say this is bad metal. And doesn't mean this product is bad but I couldn't find somebody that would help me work with it to know how durable and useful it is.

Honda Pilot key not great
I don't know if there is anything better for a 2013 Honda pilot. The hatch button only opens the window and after 3months with little use as I don't drive the vehicle that often the key is separating.
