This fall, when our school told us we would open in distance learning, I had to come up with reasonably priced items that students could use for at home experiments. I am so glad I found these bottles. It's true that they are not dishwasher safe or heat proof, but they work well for chemical reactions that don't generate a lot of heat. I tested them at home and they worked fine up to 50 deg Celsius (did not test them beyond that). The plastic is clear, so easy to see color changes. They are lightweight so they also work great for density measurements using a 100 g. portable scale. They are easy to clean with a standard test tube or small bottle brush. They are also not so expensive, so if students lose or damage them, it is not a great loss to the school. I also like that they have flat bottoms, so they can stand up by themselves. They hold about 40 ml (with about 1/2 cm air space at top) and stand about 10.5 cm tall. If you write on them with a sharpie, you can take the markings off easily with rubbing alcohol without damaging the plastic. Overall, I am finding them very handy for experiments and will probably continue using them even after we return to in-person instruction.

These turned out much sturdier and nicer than I expected, I used them to make chai tea thank you gifts for the Baby Shower I threw.

Worked okay, was not able to find a small enough gumball to fit. The 0.75 size were just slightly bigger where would damage gumball if tried to push through. So you would have to buy smaller than that size for these. I was able use for other candy to go in here and they did look great: items arrived intact and were as described otherwise

I bought these tubes to use as bean vaults to simplify my daily coffee making routine.I buy beans in bulk fresh from the coffee roaster. After sitting the appropriate time for degassing, I transfer the beans (in 18 - 21 gram lots depending on the beans) and put these filled tubes in the freezer to keep fresh until needed. When I am ready for my brew, I just pull one out of the freezer then grind and brew.These tubes do a great job,

Purchased these for storing seed beads. Each tube fits 50g of either 11/0 or 8/0 Miyuki or Toho rocaille beads. Perfect. Love the screw-on caps and flat bottom and that they can hold these large-ish quantities.

I was worried about using these with ferro fluid, but they seal up well. We have ferro fluid and other oils mixed together in different tunes. We can see the separations well. We even run magnets around the outside of the tube, and they are holding up well.
