High Quality Switch Feels Very Solid in Use
I was quite surprised by just how heavy this switch was when I received it. Not in a bad wad but rather just giving a very good sense of it being a well-built, robust switch that presumably reflects internal construction that gives good isolation for the 3 connections. Compared to other A/B switches I've bought in the past, this was 2 or 3 times their weight. I bought it for a somewhat unconventional use that it works great for....As a Comcast cable internet subscriber, I've been very frustrated by various losses of service I've experience. Perhaps not a lot for cable, but compared to an old DSL service I had for many years with zero outages, cable just pales in comparison. Having "cut the cable" for all but the internet service and returned all equipment including the gateway router, I bought a Netgear router that appears the exact same device as that provided by Comcast. Neither router has a power switch, yet power will often need to be disconnected to try and restore service and often this is also true of the coax cable connection....a screwed on connection to a router that I've got other equipment somewhat cluttered around, making it awkward to disconnect the cable. I've used the slip-on type connector cables before, but just feel a screw-on connection has higher integrity. So, to make complete disconnection of my router MUCH easier, I bought an inline lamp switch that I installed on the power cord, and this A/B switch is being used as a cutoff switch for the cable. For that purpose, the cable line in is connected to the A side of the switch and I've put a terminator on the B side. I then made up a short 8-inch coax cable for connecting the TV out connector and that cable then connects to the router. So, to fully disconnect the router I flip to the B input on the switch and turn off power via the lamp switch. It works like a champ, and service interruptions are much easier to work with now.

Well-Made AB Switch - Works Great
Bought this to replace an old slider-type switch. The old switch had the two inputs on one side and the output for the TV on the other side. This switch has the inputs and output on the same side: nicer for my application. It is a much heavier switch, and the pushbuttons are solid.I disconnected the cable & antenna coax cables and attached them to the new C2G AB Switch, powered up the TV and all of the cable stations came in perfectly. I then selected the anntena input on the TV, pressed the B button on the C2G Switch and to my surprise all of the local stations came in crystal clear. In fact, two of the local channels that were previously pixelating and unstable with the OTA antenna signal were now solid and sharp. Not sure if the old switch was attenuating the signal or just didn't have the bandwidth for the all-digital signals. The new switch didn't show any of the old problems; and we're on the signal fringe for using an indoor antenna. The indoor antenna I'm using is a small Phillips HDTV Passive Antenna. I use it only when the cable is out or have a power loss during hurricane season (have a portable gasoline generator to handle the refrigerator, TV, and fans). Hopefully now I'll be able to check more than one source of weather info during storm season.

Works well as a cable signal switch box
I got this to select between the direct Comcast cable signal and the output of a simple cable box for a kitchen TV. I use the direct signal connection to view HD on the non-scrambled channels (typical over the air options) and the cable box output to watch the cable channels no longer available unscrambled (ESPN, other sports channels, etc.). I like that all of the RF connections are on the rear which makes it easy to hide the cabling while the switches on the top are easily accessible from the front. I mounted it with velcro on the top of the similarly sized cable box and this makes for a compact, nice looking installation that sits underneath the TV. The switches are large and easy to use. No problems after a month of use. Good value and recommended.

Well constructed and works as advertised
This is a nice little box. The plastic casing is sturdy and seems like it would hold up to a lot of jostling around while working in the back of the TV set with all the cords. The switches are also well made and seem like they would hold up through many switches from A to B and vice versa. I haven't had the opportunity to use mine much, though, since it did not fix the problem I was having of low internet speed that I thought was due to splitting the cable signal between the cable modem and television.

Works with Satellite Antennae
There are not many A/B switches advertised to work with Satellite coax antenna feeds. The description on this switch does indicate that it can work with satellites. I'm using it to easily switch between my motorhome roof mounted Dish Tailgater antenna, to another Tailgater antenna on the ground in cases where tree cover prevents a signal from reaching the roof mounted antenna at the campsite. The satellite receiver sends power to the antennae, so I'm always careful to unplug the receiver from the A/C plug first before I press the switch button, as I'm concerned with potential sparks damaging the antennae or the receiver itself. As far as the bandwidth, I have not not noticed any degradation in picture quality, even though the satellite signal operates at a higher frequency (higher than 1GHz) than the switch is rated. It works well for my application so far.

didn't work
I'm pretty sure I connected it correctly. Would not switch to its b-channel.

It is solidly made just like the advertisement says.
I have an over the air antenna in a window I can't get channel 2 on and one on the wall I can't get channel5 on, go figure. So I ordered this splitter because I was tired of unscrewing and screwing in cables all the time. Long story short the splitter works like a charm. I've only had it a few days but in that short time I can tell my reception has improved by at least 25%.
