My 3 cats love it. Now they drink more water and luckily don’t play in it. It typically needs refilled once per week. I have well water so we get mineral deposits. I thought I was cleaning the pump well but didn’t realize I was missing some parts until the pump stopped working after 4 months. I realized I could really take the pump off and take it apart including the magnetic axle fan so I could scrub out the mineral rusty deposits. I waited so long I had to soak it in CLR. Clean it weekly and you shouldn’t have any issues. The last page of the instructions show you the parts I’m talking about. I just didn’t realize the blade was magnetized so I didn’t force it and gave up. Lesson learned and now my cats are back to using their water fountain.

I'm 100% satisfied with my cats new Kitty Spout2. The pump motor is super quiet...I can't hear it. Hear the water trickling out of the faucet more. Took my 2 cats a couple days to get used to it but they love it now. I've noticed the health in my older female cat is alot better now. Her fur feels softer, her skin isn't so dry, and she doesn't seem to have a problem with her kidneys or urinary tract anymore. Before Kitty Spout she couldn't get to the litter boxes in time and would go potty on the floor...not anymore. If they could talk to me I'm sure they'd tell me how much they love drinking clean filtered water. Kitty Spout is so easy to clean and i love the filteration system. I'll never buy another plastic water dish for my cats ever again. I'm a very satisfied customer. Well worth the cost of it.

Bought another kitty spout recently prior to this issue, but the Kitty spout I bought less than a year ago, the pump has already failed. Had to adapt one of the Velken pumps in it’s place temporarily from one of my older cat fountains.

Looks nice. Little pricy. Very quiet. Cat seems to like it. Wish I could turn off the light though.. 🤔

I saw a video about this and decided to look into it. I have a very finicky cat and the vet in the video said it could take up to a week for them to start using it. Well...it did. He was used to drinking from the sink faucet and still wanted to and I told my husband to stop putting him up there so he would start. Every time he jumped up to the sink, I put him by this. All I know now is that we just came back from a vacation and couldn'ty wait for me to get it set up again. It is so easy to set up. I clean it every 2 weeks as recommended and it is very easy to assemble. There are 2 filters to replace so cleaning replacing them is so easy. There is no battery on this one, so it must be set up near a plug. I think my cat is drinking more water now that he is not afraid of it any more.

I have tried several other cat fountains but my cat refused to use them. this one he does us as it is silent and works well.

Our cats love having a fountain and running water. Unfortunately the pump on this one died today. One day outside of the thirty day window where we could have returned it. I'll give it 2 stars because it is stainless and the design of the fountain does keep the water free of debris and hair. But, the way the power cord is run is not ideal, and the design of the fountain makes it so that if it loses power there is no water available for the cats to drink.
