DC Sports Front Strut Bar For Use With (03-10 Scion tC)

Took 5min to install. Simply pop the plastic cowl up and there's 4 14mm nuts that need undone (two on each side). Hardest one was behind the brake master cylinder towards firewall but you can get it with a 14mm wrench. Easily went on, tighten nuts, then popped the plastic back on. Done. Looks great, extremely sturdy. 👍

For the Scion tC1 this is the best strut bar you can buy without fabricating one yourself. Made of steel compared to all others which are aluminum besides the hotchkiss. Installation is not too difficult. Takes about 35 mins start to finish. You will have to jack your car up but the bar comes with very detailed instructions that are spot on. Also came with 3 stickers which we all know add 5hp a piece!This bar will block your engine cover as will any other so be sure to have your tune up done before installing.As for the the “feel” after installation... your front end will feel 2x as solid around corners. Significantly less body roll. And reducing flex in your chassis is always good no matter the application. If your on the fence, buy it. No regrets.

After hearing that this strut bar actually gives notable better handing I thought I would give it a try... Glad I did haha. This thing looks nice. comes with 3 nice white decals. It does actually help with the body roll around fast corners. install took like 15min. and adds something more to look at under the hood haha, is cheaper then the TRD one and i think it looks better and I'd bet its stronger Too, at least its beefer looking lol. Im Glad I put it on, wonder why they dont have them stock like some cars do.

The strut bar does what it's supposed to, and installation is a breeze if you have some mechanical know how and common sense. It took me about 20 minutes to put mine on.The car feels more planted and the steering feels much more responsive, even while riding on coilovers.Definitely would buy another one if I had to.The product shipped fast but the packaging left something to be desired, one of the ends of the strut bar was poking through the end of the box but was undamaged.

Love this strut bar especially for the price and quality by DC sports. Easiest install for better handling. Just be sure to check and see if you're due for sparks plugs or ignition coils replacement before you do the install because it does block the valve cover but still easy to remove (5-10mins); I realized afterwards about 15K miles post-install.

So far I haven't had any problems with this item. Fitment was perfect on my 2006 Scion TC, I had to bend a piece of metal to get to one of the bolts with my socket wrench. I can make turns at 45 easily. Great Item and I definitely recommend. Oh, and it also shipped to me in a day, so that was a pleasant surprise (:
