Philips AT600/15 AquaTouch Wet and Dry Electric Shaver (Blue)

Purchased it in 2015 and it is still functioning without any issues. A quality product from Phillips.

Good product. Healthy battery. Can only use it masterfully if water is applied to the skin. Takes a long time to shave without moisture. Doesn't do a perfect job with shaving creams.

Before writing my review...let me tell u guys about my beard...I have coarse very heavy full grown hairs on my face...also a few white strands on my chin.Because of these white strands of hairs I hv to shave almost daily..which is so troublesome as my hairs r thick.I was using mach3 and after lathering my beard properly I was managing to get it clean..it takes so much time.and still my skin feels bruised.But now I m using this amazing product to trim my white strands on day one and two (dry shaving)..and on day 3 I use it with foam to have a proper clean smooth shave .occasionally I uses the rajor too after a wet shave of aquatouch but as u know second shave is always less painful so this product hv taken all my pains of shaving my stubborn hard beard. Believe me guys its a great difference and the experience itself is so good. Its much better then the old rajor shaving. A must have product for people having tough times with their beards...its like stepping into a new generation.

Not worth

Pros:Its a good purchase for a person who shaves twice or thrice in a week.Smooth with wet shave. (Yes smooth haven't found any cuts and nicks. There are chances of cuts if there is any minute protruding pimples or blackheads which can enter the gap as the blades are so close)Can remove the blade completely to wash and replace.Good battery backup. (haven't checked precisely)Cons:Needs at least 20-25 minutes to shave properly because some strands of hairs will be left over (You need to keep rubbing).If used for dry shave skin burns and irritates.The beard gets stuck and pains if its 1 week beard.Bottom line:I would recommend it for any one who shaves thrice a week. If you shave once a week then i would recommend only trimmer or shaver with trimmer.Size compared with Panasonic wireless wet/dry trimmer. Blade top has spring effect and can be disassembled completely like in the picture.

Today I used the Shaver for the first time and what's an experience. Before buying the product through Amazon I had gone through reviews given by so many buyers. Lots of people had expressed that the Shaver gives skin irritation for first few uses then the use become okay. But as I used it for the first time my experience are as :1. It gives me no irritation after the first use.2. It gives me a nice shaving which is better than the conventional shaving with even gillette MARKIII Shaver.3. It is completely hassle free shaving and washing away the Shaver after the use is as easy as washing a clean vessel.4. It gives me a manly image through the mirror as I use it.Thanks Philips.

This is the first time I bought and used an electric shaver, I bought with Philips BT1005 Beard Trimmer costing me appro. Rs 2100 for the combo . Being a noob with an electric shaver I decided to test & use it while having a bit grown out beard and with shaving foam on, turned out to be a big mistake on my part since it was very uncomfortable using it for the first time. I just washed my face and trimmed my facial hair, then I decided to test the electric shaver on dry. It was initially a bit uncomfortable but I was surprised by the good job it was doing giving me clean shave look. I got more comfortable with it as I kept using it more. Its best to use it when your facial hair has not grown out too long and thickPros:Waterproof & Easy to cleanCan reach & shave hard to shave places on your face/neck, more easily when compared to razor blades imoEasier to navigate on your face compared to blade (after you get accustomed to the new electric shaver upon using it couple of times)Can be used without needing shaving cream/foam (better to use it for smoother shave)Can quickly turn your stubble to a clean shave lookGood quality product at affordable priceCons:Takes 10 hours to fully charge and cannot be used while chargingNot extremely powerful and can take a while if your facial hair has grown a bit and thickenedTakes a few tries to get used to itOverall good product, best used when your stubble hasnt grown too much. Would recommend having a trimmer for a quicker way to get a full shave and also to handle sideburns.
