Important To Test Your Blood Pressure
The Ecomed Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is quite a sturdy machine and is amazing value for its very reasonable price.I found it very easy to use and understand.I am getting to the age where regular blood pressure checks are a good idea and although my blood pressure is normally very good, sensible to keep a regular check on it.I would certainly recommend this machine for home use and if any real concerns over high blood pressure, please link in with the Doctor.

Pretty good
Really easy to use and accurate readings. I tend to do 3 readings to get an average reading. The only downside was that my two bodybuilding sons are unable to use it without purchasing a larger cuff and their arm muscles are too large. Overall a good product, which is reasonably priced.

Very easy to use
This is a simple and very easy to use blood pressure monitor. Put on the cuff, press the start button and wait for the reading. To make it even easier there is an on-screen indicator indicating whether the reading is “high” or “low”, with the reading also being automatically recorded (with date and time) in one of two memories where up to 60 recordings can be kept. A pulse figure is also recorded. The readings also seem accurate (mine was pretty much the same as the last time I went to a doctor), and the instructions are good. The device is powered by 4 AA batteries – which are supplied. And that is about it. It does what you want it to do, no more and no less, and is only as complex as it needs to be. I find it impossible to fault

Easy to use monitor
This is identical to the blood pressure monitor the go gave me for 2 weeks to track my blood pressure. It's easy to use and the large display makes taking readings easy . The cuff goes around your arm and again does it's job, feels a bit uncomfortable when inflating but it's part of the process ! Fits various arm sizes from myself to bulkier men no problem as hasan adjustable strap .The readings appear quickly and I take about 3 to get an average . Sometimes it has flipped and the readings were off but generally enough I think as a basic blood pressure monitor it delivers what it needs to , its also neatly packaged and easily portable enough , it's about the size of a small portable camera case.Fast results, easy to use , operate and understand . It only has two buttons and literally you put the strap on and press start and in a few seconds it's done .There are so many different types of monitors on the market , and maybe a bit too much choice! For me this is good enough and my doctor things so as well .

Accurate blood pressure meter.
This works in the same way as the ones used by doctors: the cuff goes around your upper arm and gives you the systolic /diastolic pressure plus pulse.A feature of this model is the ability to store data for two users. Not really that useful if you use either a log book or an app. Better than nothing for those who don't.It seems to be pretty accurate, just a pity that it doesn't come with a case

Not sure if this monitor is accurate because the BP readings it gives are consistently higher than my Omron BP monitor
ecomed Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor BU-92EWhen I bought my first home blood pressure monitor a couple of decades ago, it cost nearly £100! These days, a good, accurate blood pressure monitor like this one can be bought for considerably less and do just as good a job. I've been using an Omron MX2 Basic blood pressure monitor for several years now and it's in the same price range as this ecomed one. On the plus side, the economed one is much smaller so takes up less room on the medical kit shelf. It has a display that's simple to use and one button operation. However, the velcro cuff was extremely noisy because the strip of velcro is so wide and it is extra strong (compared to the Omron). And unfortunately the Omron and economed gave different readins and I can't tell which one is correct (or perhaps they are both wrong); I will only know that if I am able to test the devices against one known to be accurate.=== THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ===* Compact design that takes up less room on the shelf than other BP monitors* Wide cuff with broad velcro strip that will easily fit comfortably around most upper arms (and there's a separate cuff available for wider upper arms)* Contains a detailed leaflet on how to use the blood pressure monitor and about blood pressure in general* Comes with 4 AA batteries, so it's ready to go*The batteries on these blood pressure monitors will last for ages* Comes with a 2 year guarantee=== NIGGLES ===* The velcro band on the cuff is very wide and very sticky - it takes a lot of effort to undo the cuff and makes a lot of noise!* Comparing the readings with my existing BP monitor, there was a consistent difference with the ecomed one. I took 6 readings with each BP monitor (3 on one, 3 on the other, then repeat) and found the ecomed BP mmonitor gave consistently higher BP readings. Averaged out these were 101/61 on the economed cmpared to 94/58 on the Omron. Pulse readings were almost the same. I cannot account for the difference in BP readings between the 2 machines: one or other of them (or perhaps both!) are wrong and I don't know how to tell which. For sale at the time of writing this review at £17.88 (RRP £25.38).

Easy to use, easy to understand
Its easy to use, easy to read and comes with the needed batteries included. This model comes in two parts, the electronic unit and the cuff.Place the included batteries into the electronic unit, insert the rubber tube and place the cuff on your upper arm. Pressing start inflates the cuff and after a few seconds you will get the reading.Cleverly the numbers are arrayed with the WHO traffic light system. Red bad, green good. Makes for easy comprehension. You can use a memory function to track your blood pressure. Handy. Its a great little unit.
