Posture Corrector - Fully Adjustable Breathable Clavicle Chest Back Support Brace for Improves Posture & Provide Lumbar Support Back Pain Relief - Perfect for Men & Women - X Small

I purchased this posture corrector in hopes that it would help to support my back while working in my office or doing other various hobbies that tend to facilitate bad posture. I've dealt with upper back pain as long as I can remember, and I know what activities aggravate the problem and put pressure on ribs that pop out of place. I see a chiropractor regularly to put them back into place. When I received this corrector I was so impressed! I was able to use my sewing machine for hours without my ribs coming out! This is amazing because it only takes a couple minutes in that position to pull those ribs out and then I deal with tension and fire in my back until I can get adjusted at the chiropractor.I have used it when I knew I would be doing activities that usually bother my back, or have just put it on when I felt that area becoming tight during the day. It soothes the area by correcting what is going and allowing the muscles to relax. I recently went to the chiropractor, didn't tell him I had been using it for a couple months, and he asked me after checking my problem areas, "How's you back been?" I told him pretty good, and he said, "I looked over several times and I can't find anything going with your usual spot." I was floored! What a blessed find this corrector was. This corrector is only a temporary fix as I strengthen the muscles to hold my back naturally, but I am so excited to be able to strengthen my back now without pulling it out. Hopefully I won't need it in the future!In addition to a wonderful product, the designer, Alex, was wonderful to work with. When I was experiencing underarm discomfort with the size that I originally purchased, she immediately sent out another size for me to try. I felt like a member of the family as she corresponded with me and asked how it was going. When the second size arrived, she even included a personal note indicating that she hoped this would be the perfect one for me. I am so impressed, when I tried the second size, no more discomfort under the arms! Alex was right. She listened to my concerns and did her best to interpret them. This company is about your comfort. I am so glad I gave their product a try.

Update: With a few more wears, the elastic on the velcro is curling and even more stretched out. There are also loose threads. Dropped to one star. Sadly, this is going in a landfill. The good news is that I watched some YouTube videos and have constructed a better option for me out of knee wraps with velcro ends. Fully adjustable, soft and comfortable with zero digging, much cheaper, seems very durable, and it also engages the serratus anterior and better engages the latissimus dorsi. I wish I had looked into it more before going for this overpriced quick fix.Original review: So I will agree that this design is great and that Alex was very accommodating. She sent me a medium because I seemed to be in between sizes. The medium worked better. It worked great actually. However, in less than a month and two hand washes/air dried, the elastic is warped and so loose. The straps slide off. Great idea, but cheap materials. This isn't even worth the expense if receiving an extra one. I sent the small to my sister. Same thing. The elastic creases and rubs like crazy. It was fine if I wore it over a shirt before, but now it's too painful. It's a shame because it worked great for a few weeks.

I'm not a huge fan of people writing a review right away of any product. You don't know how things will change with wear or if you are having a placebo effect to a product.I have been using this product for about a month now - in addition, i tried 3 other posture braces. Overall, this product is well constructed and by far the most comfortable to wear. However, in it being the most comfortable to wear, it did not give me as much support as one other brand's brace. Reason 1) there is no support going from middle of back up to neck area. This brace (wish I could attach a picture) uses supports on a diagonal across the back. This misses a crucial area where I/people slouch. Reason 2) While the fabric/elastic they use is soft and flexible, that means is also flexible. I put this on while I was studying and cleaning (many times) and over time, my lazy ass body just started slouching while in this brace that started to stretch out some and allowed me to slouch. While the other brand I like was a lot stiffer and uncomfortable to wear, it did give me support in the area I needed, but again, it was uncomfortable.I appreciate this product and feel it is better than nothing at all. I do believe that during the days that I wear this brace and take it off, I am reminded to hold better posture, but it falls short in a few ways, including that it is pricier than it competitors.

I am a 6’0” 155lb woman. I ordered a medium, with some hesitation thinking I might need a large because I do have fairly broad shoulders. I wore it a few times but didn’t like the way it was pinching my armpit area. I reached out to Alex and she offered a suggestion to help the problem. I still felt it pinched some so she was so quick to send the next size up. However there was a mix up in the mail and I received a small instead of the large. The small definitely wasn’t for me (even though it fit “fine” the pinching was worse). Alex was super quick to send the large with a sweet personal note. However I realized after wearing the large a few times, that I didn’t feel like it was enough tension to help my shoulders stay back even though the armpit pinching was much better. So now a few weeks later, I have settled on the medium and have started getting used to the armpit pinching. It’s not painful, just uncomfortable, and if it really starts to bother me, I know I’ve been wearing it long enough.
