Very Happy with the Service
Great piece of wood but it split in shipping. The company refunded all my money and did not make me ship the item back since it would have been a huge shipping cost.

Poor quality
The wood is of poor quality . Right out of the box were several cracks in the wood, one going across the whole width. I wanted to return it but seller says shipping is on me for a 60 lbs item making it too expensive so I had to glue and attach a supporting board in one side. Would never buy again.

Solid and nice looking wooden surface
I used this to make a desktop because I'm not that great with power tools... and this solution was much easier. One side is clearly the "better" side (meaning the wood grain is more straight and consistent) and I put it on top, but the underside (the one with more knots in the wood and more variation in the grain) might be the one you prefer on top. It's sturdy but not too heavy (I could carry it by myself). It takes a stain well, and looked really good when I was done. There was a logo burned in to the wood on the front right side, but I took that off with sandpaper and you can't tell it was there.

Makes a nice island top
A good quality butcher block. We are using it as a replacement top for our kitchen island, and it is high enough quality for that purpose. As expected, it has one good side and one fair side. You should expect to do a little sanding. We did have one problem. The packaging was not adequate, and one corner had a big chip out of the top. Fortunately, we located the chip and glued it back into place. There were three small indentations in the top, all of which we can live with. There was a huge dent, fortunately on the bottom. Another layer of cardboard would be very helpful. Another thing to be aware of: the manufacturer imprints their logo on corner of the long side of the block. It does not look like it will sand off easilyUpdate: The logo was not difficult to sand off with an electric sander.

Nice quality
This would make a good workbench top, but I used it for a folding craft table and in that capacity it works perfectly

Very high quality
This is an outstanding piece of wood. I am using it as a counter over a couple of mini fridges in a home theatre room. I finished it with a golden oak stain and a wipe on poly finish. Great wood grain on the finish. Only problem was there was some small damage during shipping. The packaging was very torn up in transit. It would have been a all five star except for the damage. I worked with the seller and they made good on the damage.

Great product!
Was skeptical at first but it was delivered perfectly and made a great laundry room folding table.
