Great for extending your exhaust further away
I got this item so that I could keep my generator under the porch during inclement weather without the risk of fumes coming up into the house (plus this should help with some of the noise level as well). Also, if my generator isn't AS exposed to the sight of passerby prowlers, it lessens the risk of theft. Since it'll be under the porch I can secure it to a post. Nothing is completely theft proof, but every deterrent helps. This should serve me in more ways than one, so I'd say it's worth the cost.

NOT Compatible
I only purchased this product because it claimed to be compatible with my Duromax 13000EH generator! It certainly does not fit. I wound up sawing their attachment flange and purchasing a coupling pipe to make it fit. It was VERY difficult to get it right and do not recommend this product.

Works great
This works great! I use this to keep my 8750 watt generator in a shed. I have two gens, and this one is very noisy.This exhaust kit is very useful to get the noise down significantly. My neighbors are very happy :)Installation was a breeze, although I did have to go to that orange home improvement store to make a few things fit as I have a Wen generator. No problemo.Definitely something to consider if you're making your own noise box.
