Easy to use and works well for starting seedlings
This is a great starter kit. I have since transferred the seedlings to a different container. The bags are reusable. The box is cute and I went ahead an spray painted it as I kept this indoor on kitchen window. If you are planning on getting started with herbs or need another starter kit, this is a good value.

Not a good planting kit! Don’t buy!
I wrote one review that was poor because I only received 3 seed packets and not 5. But I also want to add the fact that there are no actual instructions for how to use the seed pellets for growing the seeds. I am attempting to plant the few seeds that I did receive, but proper instructions are nowhere! Thank goodness for Google. It’s actually not hard to do but without instructions how would I know that? And still only received 3 seed packets. Don’t buy this.

My Sister Loves!
Got it for my sister for Christmas exchange and she hasn’t complained yet! Seems like the perfect set up for beginner home makers, gardeners, and foodies. Great value for your buck!

Perfect gift for my daughter. She loves cooking and having her own herbs to use was perfect.

Cute but mislabeled seeds
Bought this so me and my son would have a fun little thing to do together, planting the seeds and caring for the plants. Although there were no instructions, it seemed pretty clear what to do. You break up the dirt pucks, which fill the little starter ‘pots’ pretty full. Then plant seeds.Well, maybe we did need some instructions after all. The rosemary and parsley never sprouted. The basil, mint, and dill have thrived though. Notice that I said “dill” though… that’s right, the thyme seeds were actually dill. I’m not sure the rosemary seeds were anything at all, TBH. Strangest looking seeds I’ve ever seen.On the positive side, the set is super cute and my son is still enjoying seeing the plants that made it grow. Three stars.
