Works perfectly
This remote was exactly what I needed. It came with batteries, connected right away, and works with all my Samsung devices. Perfect replacement Samsung solar remote
Purchased this remote to replace a less than 2-year-old Samsung solar remote that had become unreliable. There was no pairing required. It controlled the TV (Q80B) right out of the box. It's a little bigger, bulkier, and has a lot more buttons than the solar remote, but it has one bug plus - it works. Great value for genuine Samsung. Recommend.

Best remote replacement.
This is the best replacement remote I bought. Sturdy and durable. I bought several replacements but it will last a few months and get broken.

Universal? Well not really.
Purchased 2 of these universal remote controls, mostly due to the price. After numerous attempts to pair with the Samsung TV, one worked, the other did not and never was able to get it to communicate with any TV. Threw the non working unit in the trash. Buy one that is specifically meant to control your TV brand.
