This light is as bright as the other reviewers say it is. I removed the globe from my kitchen light, and the light fixture and used magnets to snap this one in place. It looks so nice, I didn't even replace the globe. Much cleaner looking without it. Great deal!

Update: the company actually read my review and offered a refund. I declined the refund since I am using the product, and updated the review from 2 stars to 4 stars,It worked, but install is tricky. The screw heads are not a good match for a typical Phillips head screwdriver, so a flat blade is better. But with modern plastic boxes needing tapping as the screw goes in, excessive force is required to keep the blade seated. Unless you have a very sturdy mount box, you might damage your ceiling or worse have the blade slip and get it in your eye. The screw head started to strip out, compounding problems. It took 15 minutes to get the screws in when it should take about 5. Finished up with vice-grips. Recommend using that approach to tap the holes first, then follow up with adding the mounting plate with the holes already tapped. Other than that, light is fine, but the "warm white" is quite bright; for my location I will put something over the lens to calm the whole thing down.

I love that lamp! Quick installation, very lightweight (what I was looking for). Installed in my kitchen ceiling, instead of my old luminescent lamp.

I bought a big 16" LED disk light for my 5x5 front porch area, it was overkill, way too bright and way too much coverage. I replaced it today with this 7" unit, and the light coverage and brightness is perfect. This 7" size is meant for hallways, closets, shower stalls, tiny bathrooms, etc. I installed it today in a relatively big room (12x20) with low ceiling, and although the floor is evenly lit by the "cone" of light, since the light output is only vertical and not horizontal, the top half of the room seems under lit, if that makes sense. Something to take into account when buying a light fixture. Any light with a border around the edge will make the ceiling and upper room look dark.

Changing my review because I ordered an extra one pack that is now no longer available from Amazon and I missing a mounting bracket and I cannot get in contact with the manufacture nor can Amazon to get me a mounting bracket so I have to order a whole new five pack for $55 for one mounting bracket. Happy with my lights until this. My basement had one light and I added four of these and it brightens the whole place up great I think they were easy to install. My electrician didn’t have any problems. Main reason I got these is because they do not have to be mounted in dry well sense my basement has the upstairs floor boards as the ceiling.
