Good product. Magnet is too strong so mobile doesn’t fall n charging speed is best as original charger work.

I recently purchased the ESR Car Mount Charger from Amazon and wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, I ran into an issue when trying to install it in my car. The charger is designed to be installed on a smooth surface, but my car's dashboard has a textured surface. Because of this, I couldn't properly secure the mount.At first, I was quite frustrated, especially since I missed the return window on Amazon. However, I decided to contact ESR's support team to see if they could help. I must say, their customer service was exceptional. They took the time to understand the problem and explained why the charger wouldn't stick to my textured dashboard. To my surprise, they issued me a full refund even though I had passed the return period.Despite the installation issue, I want to highlight that the product itself is of really good quality. The build feels sturdy, and it seems like it would work great on a smooth surface as intended. So, a big thumbs up to ESR for both their product quality and their outstanding customer service.One piece of advice for anyone considering this purchase: Make sure you check your car's dashboard surface before buying. If it's smooth, you should be fine. But if it's textured like mine, you might run into the same problem I did.Overall, I was disappointed that I couldn't use the charger, but I'm happy with how the situation was handled by ESR. I will definitely consider buying from them again in the future.

The media could not be loaded. Review after 6 months now.Pros:1. Its plastic but firm and well built2. It will hold your iphone 14 pro max (heavy) if you use it with a genuine magsafe case. You cannot expect same grip with cheap magsafe cases. It holds in road bumps and normal gutters. It takes a pretty heavy shake to displace it from the magsafe hold. But you would be worried about the car more than phone at this point. Here i rarely encounter gutter, put road bumps are plenty and some very rough as well. Never had a problem there. The only time it slipped off is when I accidentally hit it with my hand. So you need not worry about the magsafe grip if you use genuine case.3. Wireless charging speed is normal (not fast charge) but this is acceptable as it will not heat up your device more. Turning ac will help to cool it down. Also if you need fast charge you can connect phone directly to your usb fast charger while it is mounted on it. Wireless charge disables automatically when you do this.4. When you mount your phone, just slide your phone against the device and you’ll see magnet pulls it to the correct position. Yes magnet is strong.5. I connect the cable only when i need to charge. 90% of the time i use it just as a mount as I dont want to ruin battery. Just unplug the usb.Cons:1. The three point support leg doesnt work as advertised. It will slip to lower level if your phone is heavy, but this doesn’t bother me as you need to adjust the level at once, get your angle right, and leave it there.Few other points to notice:You’ll see the whole unit moves as one when it shakes on rough roads. First i was concerned but later realised this is actually a good thing, as it absorbs most of the shock and keep phone tight on magsafe hold. (If the mount was very sturdy then it might end up displacing the magsafe hold) So thats not a worry any more.Now after 6 months of use i love the product and trust it completely to hold my phone. Use of phone for maps has become quite easier. I say go for it only if you have a good magsafe case.

Beware about the support.I used the sticky attachment to mount on card dashboard.In the Delhi Summer, the attachment came off and never got attached again.I tried to get the replacement of the attachment part. The support phone number for the vendor provided by Amazon does not work and the email provided is of china domain (.cn) and despite three emails no response from vendor.Finally after calling amazon 3 times for 20 min each. Amazon has processed refund. Luckily I have the box etc. Sad that support is missing despite 12 month full protection written in product description

The quality of the magnet is higher than the other options that I have tried. The charging is slow but I believe it is the same as others.

The magnetic power is quite strong and hence the grip is fantastic. Though the product itself is great the accompanying cable is poor quality. It is a USB A to USB C cable, but it is always loose and the phone gets charged off and on. Also you need to position your phone ring exactly on the inner ring each time else it wouldn't charge your phone.

The product looks premium. It is a bit pricey though but delivers a 100%.Pros:1. Sturdy2. Magnets are strong. even on the bumps or sudden braking, it firmly holds the phone.3. The fan automatically starts as soon as we attach the phone and shuts off when we remove it.Cons:I felt that it is over priced. I think price should be between 2500 to 3000.
