I bought this for my little 13 year old Chiweenie for his little hip hop costume. It looks amazing and is super light weight but doesn't feel like the cheap plastic.It was a little big for him so after reading another review, I figured out how to take eack link off to customize the size for Riley. All you do is you line up the opening of two links(towards the end) and "slide" one off of the other. It's pretty durable plastic that can slightly bend for this to be able to happen. Then, I slid the round metal Hoop that's at the end, on to the last link, so that I'd be able to fasten it to the other side. I removed about 4-5 links to make this fit perfectly.*photos are of him before I figured out how to remove the links. It's not terrible long either.

These were very cool looking collars so I was really bummed when they fell apart within the first 24 hours.

Without any adjustment, the original length fits my cat as the picture shown.After some easy adjustment, we took out around 6 of the link and it fits her perfectly. (We accidentally broke one link - our fault. This link is really easy to be remove by the opening).My kitty absolutely hates her harness but she does not seem that bother by this gold chain, probably because it weight nothing on her neck. Really high quality plastic that looks like real metal. Now we cannot see our kitty as a cute little thing anymore. She is a grown woman, and her soundcloud account is kitty4life. #jk

I thought it was going to be like a metal chain but it's like the jewelry that you get out I out of a quarter machine Itl work for every now and then to put on my puppy when we go out but it's not built for a leash

GET THIS CHAIN!My dog looks like a rapper/rock star with this chain! I have my dog with me a lot and even in the car people will roll down their windows to laugh and tell me how much they love how the chain looks on my dog. I actually got this cuz my brother got the chain for his cat. Even though this looks to be heavy, it's super lightweight. My dog wears it often to sleep. I suggest getting it. Your pet will love all the extra attention.

They’re pretty nice looking for plastic links. They still dress the dog/cat up and it’s nice that the links are removable so that the collar can be adjusted to fit something as small as a 7-month-old kitten to a large dog. My only thing is obviously watch the pet, especially if it’s a cat in case the collar snags. It’s not a breakaway collar so you wouldn’t want the pet to hang itself. And my kitten didn’t like it at first and was actually able to bend the small metal links and break the necklace off that way, but that was after struggling with it for several minutes.

Light weight plastic and easy to remove links. I removed 6 to get the necklace to fit Newman’s neck so he could wear it as his collar. He now looks like a boss man and I love it!
