LT70 Laser Distance Meter – 70m (229ft) Range, High Accuracy, Multiple Measurement Modes, Built-in Level Bubble, and Mute Function (70m)

The LASELION LT100 Laser Distance Meter, is just what was needed for my project.

It takes a few minutes to work out how the thing works but after that it seems very good. I checked the accuracy at short range against a meter ruler and it came in 2mm out on every reading whether measuring from the top or the bottom of the device. But that potentially means it is phenomenally accurate once knowing this as the error didn’t get bigger over larger distances. And who can complain about a couple of millimetres anyway for a super convenient gadget like this.The only small extra gripe is the spirit level indicators that are, at best, pretty rough. I could tell by eye better than the spirit level could tell me. Don’t buy it for this feature unless you really struggle to have any clue what is horizontal or vertical.Everybody should have one for this price. So quick and convenient. Just wish I’d bought one years ago.

Perfect for diy projects around the house, making easy work for measuring.I was a bit taken back by all the data and the unit itself (total novice at diy) luckily the instruction manual is very concise so do read this before you even turn this on so your not over whelmed.Excellent range within the house and garden and 100% accurate making this excellent value for money

This laser measure is so handy and I love the fact it has the bubbles in it for levelling. It's made to be rugged and even when I dropped it it just bounced and carried on working no problems. All in all a great tool that's now got a place in my toolbox.

Easy to use, good value but the buttons are a little frustrating

I measure the size of an A4 paper. It was only 3mm off.

This is my 2nd laser meter - but the first one is almost identical in both looks and functionality.First of all - it's pretty accurate. I checked and it does have the tolerance of 2mm, but with this sort of thing you won't worry about marginal measuring errors.It has a backlit, clear display with everything you need properly displayed. You have the battery indicator, the measuring mode and of course - lots of dials. Because this meter can measure not just distance but also areas and volumes. It can measure continuously too - helps if you want to i.e. see if your wall has the same angle all the way.It measures in meters, feet, inches and feet with inches. Good enough for me. The maximum distance is 50m, minimum isn't mentioned anywhere but if you get an error message - you'll know. Minimum length is small enough to not bother using this device and just get the normal measurer for really small lengths. Being able to measure from the front or the back of the meter is a really practical feature.This device has two bubble levels - a horizontal and a vertical one. It really does help taking more precise measurements.You can have the sound on or switch it off - it's a good volume, not too loud but definitely clear to hear. I left mine on.The unit is powered and with 2 AAA batteries, which were kindly included. Also you get a lanyard, a drawstring bag and of course - a manual. Pretty much all you need.It has a built-in laser off (30 seconds) and unit off (180 seconds) features to save batteries.This meter also has a memory function. It may be useful sometimes - it will store up to 99 measurements of all kinds. Just remember it will reset when you take batteries off.The laser is pretty strong and very visible. The device is made of fairly decent plastic and apparently is waterproof IP54 - I would definitely keep it away from water though. Dustproof is more useful here.£19 is a decent price - it really comes handy with decorating and some minor building works. Happy to recommend.Thank you for reading my review.
