Some of the screws were a little hard to get started but once they caught onto the metal they were easy to screw in with the screw driver provided. It took a while because we took our time so we didn't mess anything up. The directions were ok to understand and all the parts were labeled so you knew just how everything went. All in all a very nice little file cabinet for the home.

Easy to build, good quality

I really like this file cabinet. The pink color is very cute. The product was well packed. The instructions were very clear. While you could put it together by yourself it is helpful having someone hold the pieces while you are screwing them together. It took about an hour to put together. You need an electric screw driver. There are 36 screws used when assembled. Way to many too screw in by hand.

The parts are not all labeled. Pilot holes are virtually non reinvent. Description says nothing about needing an actual drill. I use o put furniture together when I worked for a store and this product should be avoided unless you have a drill and q lot of patience and are lucky enough to have a box with everything actually labeled with clear front and back labeling.i can begin to accurately describe how disgusted I am with this seller and gheir proct and directions. Amazon should not sell this without a proper description of tools needed

It was packed well and there wasn't a dent or scratch on the cabinet. All parts are labeled, including spare screws and other hardware. The drawers slide smoothly and the interior is spacious enough to store electronic equipment, office supplies, legal size documents and more. And it comes with three keys. I love how it looks and functions. It's the perfect size to fit under my desk.

Before purchasing this item, I searched the reviews to ensure I was not going to run into any assembly issues. I purchased another filing cabinet prior, with major assembly issues involving a trip to Lowes to purchase screws to fit and fasten the cabinet sides and drawers. This cabinet's reviews showed ease of assembly in 30 minutes by a reviewer and 4 plus stars so I felt confident in making the purchase. I certainly am not a contractor, however, I have installed showerheads, towel rings, towel bars, assembled desks, and filing cabinets. This filing cabinet comes completely unassembled in many pieces. There are 34 screws for this two drawer filing cabinet. Frustratingly, the 34 holes are too small on the filing cabinet I received for the screws to screw into. This has been reported to Amazon, who in turn communicated the problem to the seller. We are awaiting a response. In the meantime, the holes need to be made bigger or smaller screws need to be purchased. I do not have a drill, nor do I feel one should have to be purchased. Nor screws. Buyer beware. It may be a better decision to go with one already assembled, unless you have the tools to fix poor manufacturing. The frustration, energy, effort, and time is not worth the cheaper price. Standby for update after I hear back from Amazon and seller. UPDATE as of 4/5/2025 - Seller agreed to a full refund. Communication with the seller was quick, professional, and efficient. For this reason and the following, I have changed the rating from a one star to a three star. I was able to get the filing cabinet assembled by widening the screw holes. It did take effort and time but now that the cabinet is assembled, a huge plus for this item. I have purchased a Vasagle, Homsteel, and Kubohogar. The Kubohogar drawer specs for hanging file folders is spot on. The Vasagle and Homsteel drawers are a smidge too wide and the hanging file folders fall off the rails easily - at least for the Staples hanging file folders I am using.

Works well. Does not take up a lot of room next time writing desk. Ivory color is as shown on photo. It’s sturdy, and good price for File Cabinet. Thank you.
