A couple years ago, my 20+ year old African Violet was pretty sad because I'd neglected to re-pot it or feed it on a regular basis. My plant guru friend recommend this potting mix and it worked wonderfully to revive my poor plant. All I did was re-pot it in this mix and feed it occasionally (although I forget to do that "regularly"). It had set in the same window for 20 years and lived despite my neglect. I just ordered another bag of this mix and re-potted it again (before it got all wilted looking) and it's doing wonderfully- stays in almost constant bloom! I have added some grow lights to the window as well but that was sometime after the first re-potting. Don't do what i did and wait until your plant is gasping for life before giving it what it needs! I'm a better plant mom now! Will be using this mix to re-pot and replenish my wonderful plant on a more regular basis!

This organic mix seems perfect for my violets. Close to what the companies use and sell. No soil. My violets seem very happy and their blooms smile at me and say thank you! You'll be happy with this as well.

Very good product. A little pricey on line, but it saved a shopping trip. My violets are all healthy and happy to be in new soil.
