1/4 Baltic Birch Plywood - 11.8 x 11.8 inch, Pack of 8, 6mm Baltic Wood Sheet for Lasers

Works great for my diode laser wood comes individually wrapped in plastic to keep the humidity out and to keep the wood fairly straight

I ordered this to see how well it laser engraves. The 3 sheet package came individually wrapped in plastic and wrapped as one. One sheet was warped more than the other two (normal due to humidity) so it got the laser first. The sheets measured 11-3/4" sq. x under 6mm thick. The surfaces are smooth and free of imperfections. Edges are ok, not perfect. The middle filler layer had imperfections or holes in it that showed up when cutting through for the finish shape. Also hit glue spots (or hard spots?) that didn't want to be cut through. So there were a couple of blow-outs on the finish edge that destroyed the project. I haven't tried the remaining 2 sheets yet but will.Now, this can be seen on various plywood that I have used in the past from various manufactures. All of them were less expensive. It wasn't a big surprise but was a disappointment. I included a close-up to show the quality of the engraving, not cleaned, and it is very good. With plywood it's the risk you take.

Im 50/50 on this bc literally half if the material i ordered u layered itself after putting it on the laser. With that said, nothing ca glue didnt fix but i if im being honest, this was not worth the orice for the quality of the materials. Seems as if the glue layers in between did not hold strength. Will not be re ordering.

Well packaged and good quality wood for an assortment of scroll saw projects.

Perfect for all sorts of crafts or for using with your laser. The size of these are also a good size for many projects. A good thickness for easy cutting. The boards do not have imperfections in them, making them nice looking. The color is light enough to easily paint or stain them. They are not warped at all when you receive them. Nice value for your buck.

It arrived well packaged but with a decent amount of warp in 2/3 sheets. Have not tried to get the warping out yet but I'm sure it's possible. Just never feel like I should have to do that with such small sheets.Also, it's less than 1/4" thickness, which could cause issues if you’re needing it to be exact for a specific project. Not sure why companies do this, it's not dimensional lumber from the big box store, so just advertise as the true thickness.Unfortunately these are the common issues I've come to always expect when ordering plywood online. The veneer itself seems to be of high quality though and there appears to be no internal voids.

Very glad I got this Baltic birch plywood. I mostly work with basswood, and didn't think there'd be a lot of difference but WOW! This stuff is great. The pack I got is very flat, very clear and works great on my little hobby laser. Getting great results and I'll definitely be back for more!
