Tall enough to stand in, small enough to fit in a suitcase
I bought this tent because I spend about three months a year camping for wildfires and I wanted a tent tall enough to stand in (I’m 6’ tall) and small enough to fit in a suitcase. I haven’t used it yet, but I did set it up in my yard to test it out and make sure everything was there and worked. First, yes, I can stand up in it, and it can definitely fit in my checked suitcase. Second, it’s as described. I set it up by myself in about five minutes. It’s roomy and as well made as one can expect from a fairly cheap tent, so it’s a good value for the money. Third, I really liked it has attached knuckle covers to protect the tent when it’s packed. This is super nice feature and completely unexpected. Also, the tent bag is over sized so no problem getting the tent back in. And, since the bag is both wider and longer, i have options on ways to roll the tent for packing. I can roll it longer and skinnier, or shorter and fatter, whichever I need for fitting in my suitcase. This is super helpful! Fourth, the tent poles…I think the metal leg poles will be fine. They’re nice and sturdy and should withstand weeks and weeks of use. However, I’m not so sure about those cheap roof poles. They’re fiberglass and a little flimsy. On the other hand, if they do break while I’m on a fire, I should be able to rig up a temporary repair with a tree branch and some duct tape.

Excellent tent for the money. Stayed dry.
I took this tent camping straight out of the box. Not recommended but I was in a hurry to leave. I spent 2 weeks camping. It rained for the first three days and not a drop inside. It rained so hard there were even tornados at the campground south of me. My cot was pushed up against the side and nothing wicked in. Large enough to accommodate a cot, table and a chair. And my dog. Loved the high ceiling so that I can stand up and change. The seams looked to have extra sealer. Only problem was the zipper got stuck on the flap they had sewn on to protect the zipper from rain where it transitions. I also would have preferred if the rain fly stuck out past the bottom of the door so that rain didn't come in when I went out.

Great Tent
LOVE this tent. Purchased for Rockville. We put the tent under a canopy so I can't comment on the water resistance. VERY easy to put together. The packed bag is light and surprisingly roomy. I HATE most tent bags that you can almost never rezip because its only big enough for the perfectly folded tent. Lets be real, after camping anywhere youre exhausted and a nice tight roll is as good as its getting. I was still able to get everything back in the bag.We left the rain fly off since we were under a canopy and with the windows open it was surprisingly comfy in the may Florida heat in Daytona. It got a nice breeze through.Size wise I was able to fit 2 twin 18 inch air mattresses! There was just enough room to walk through the middle. If the mattress weren't so tall it would have been better.I was concerned with trying to change in a small tent in the heat so I wanted to make sure I could stand. Im 5'6" and had no trouble changing in this tent. For the price and size I highly recommend.

Nice tent
I bought this tent to solo camp as an adult leader for boy scouts. So far I've used this for one weekend camping trip. The only other tent I really have to compare it to is the 12-person family tent it is replacing, which is much larger, and different style. This tent is good for 1-2 people. I did a dry-run setup on the lawn at home before the trip so I'd know how to set it up. The first time took about 30 minutes to figure it out, but now I can set it about 10 mins. There's a little trick to bending the poles to get it upright, but its easy enough once you know. This is NOT a pop-up, umbrella-style tent where the poles are pre-attached. You have to thread them through the fabric.Anyway, it had rained hard on the way to camp, and I did not bring a tarp for underneath, so I went tent directly on the wet ground. The bottom of the tent is tarp-like, and did not seep water inside. It didn't rain again once I arrived at camp for the weekend, so I can't comment on waterproof-ness for rain on the top. This tent is relatively easy to enter/leave and stand inside of due to its height. The zippers could be a bit smoother. The windows are nice. The rainfly seems a bit small as it only covers the very top, so if it's going to rain, you should definitely zip the windows shut, as the rainfly doesn't cover them.Break down took about 10-15 mins, as you have to fold and stuff everything away into the sack. All told, this is a good looking tent that you can stand in, if that's important to you. I'd say it's a good value compared to other tents of its size/type.

Perfect for me.
74 years old. I had a hard time with the tent that I already owned inserting the 100-foot posts into 200 small slots that were difficult to keep open. This new tent has two short poles for the top, and four short poles for the sides, making it MUCH easier to setup. At 6 foot high it is also 'tall enough' for my 6'6" frame. And, lo and behold: the bag was big enough to put the tent back in after I was done, and not so small that only well-trained factory packers could get the tent in.

Great 2-room Tent
Just bought this tent so set it up inside to make sure it’s all there. Everything was perfect (well, almost everything). Prefect size, very easy setup (I can do it myself in a short time). Have not used it outside yet but looking forward to it. I hope I can use it without the rain top so I can see the stars through the screen top. The only negative is the “room divider” does not go up high enough to truly separate the two sides of the 8 person tent. I love that I can stand up inside and walk around. So glad I bought this tent though.
