Seems to be a high quality unit. It’s a smooth action switch and appears will outlast me.

I selected a package of six because the price of each is much less than buying smaller quantities. I only needed two for a project, but I also have four for future projects. It was very simple to install except the screws for attaching power cords inside the switch are pretty small, so you need to use a small Philips driver. I looked at some other reviews to see how others made the connections. Once installed I used double sided tape to attach the switches to the said of the headboard of our bed to switch two sconces for reading. I struggled a little on the first one, mostly because of my fat fingers and inadequate lighting where I was installing them. But the second one was a breeze once I got trained doing the first one. It is extremely handy to have inline switch to operate a light, no more reaching around to find the on/off switch, typically inside the lampshade on a table lamp.

Overall, this is a good switch for the price.Positives: It is a double pole, single throw (DPST) switch, meaning that both wires are connected internally. In a single pole switch, one wire is connected to the switch and the other runs intrnally beside the switch without making a connection. I prefer DPST switches because it interrupts both wires when switched off.A small plastic "U" shaped bracket with two screws is located at each end. Position it one way and it will clamp onto a thicker cable such as a table lamp cord. The other way clamps onto slimmer cables such as a USB cord. I like having this feature as it means that the wires are held tightly on both ends of the switch.It has a strong switching mechanism that should last. There is a firm "click" when pressed on or off.The plastic case is fairly thick and should not break in normal use.The wires fit under a metal piece which is screwed down onto the wire. This should make a good, positive connection.Negatives: There are no on/off markings on the top of the switch. While this isn't a big deal, it would be nice to have the markings.While not strickly necessary, I would not attach wires inside this switch without tinning them first with a soldering iron. I had to purchase a soldering station to do that. (A cheap soldering iron will work, but you get what you pay for). I probably would have purchased a soldering station at some point anyway, but had not planned to buy one yet. (Note that most or all small switches should have tinned wires, not just this one). Tinning the wires will make a firm connection under the metal piece, while untinned wires could fray when installed under the plate and potentially short if the adjacent wire also is frayed. In addition, unfrayed and properly attached wires will carry more current.Overall, this is a good switch and I am glad I chose it.

High quality and easy to assemble. These have high quality internal components and the price is great for 2 pieces.

Quality was better than expected and installation was easy.

As others have commented, I found the screws for connecting the wire to be too small. I was still able to use it and once connected, it works well. But it presents an unnecessary struggle to connect the wire without a stray strand touching other metal parts which they should not touch.
