I have only used for week. but I think it's working.My nails seem stronger.

I hate my ridges. It isn't as if this fill the ridges and you look like you have completely different nails but- it doesn't dry your nails out and if you like a sheer shine to your plain nails, it distracts from the ugly ridges. It stays on fairly long and the condition of my nails is not worsened by using like a clear nail polish would. It also stays on because it adheres to the ridges - I find regular clear polish aside from drying out my nails, chips faster because of my ridges. I have not tried to use this under a colored polish. If I end up doing that, I will update the review. I prefer clear polish and this is a worthwhile product.

I can still see my ridges, weirdly - maybe they are just that deep?!?BUT... I don't feel them and polish goes on and looks much smoother.I actually really enjoy putting this product on. It applies very easily and smoothly and dries SO QUICK - I wish nail polish dried this quickly!I don't know that it moisturizes, but I will say that my nails have been growing out strong and don't break so maybe there is something to the claim. It is the best ridge filler that I have used. Others are much more gloppy.

This hydrating ridge filler is amazing. I apply it to my brittle nails, wait for it to dry then apply a nail hardener. I do this twice a week, for the past few months and my nail ridges are slowly disappearing. I believe it's the hydration that is helping my nails. The ridges were not visible from the very 1st use. I just ordered my 2nd bottle, I love it that much. If your nail ridges are embarrassing you, give this a try. It's worth every penny.

Fantastic product. I have a permanent split in one of my nails. I have tried numerous products, both high end and drug store. This is the only ridge filler that solves this issue. Stays on well. It does have a somewhat strong odor.Does the job well!!

My nails were normal and healthy, no chips or flaking, before I used the product. I used it as a base coat for a Sally Hansen clear top coat. I was going on a work trip and just wanted clean conservative nails. Pretty simple. It lasted less than one week when I started to notice some chipping. Ok I thought, it’s probably just the clear coat itself that was chipping- was hard to tell because I had only used clear and the Barielle as a base, both are mostly natural or clear. After one week I removed the Barielle and clear coat with non-acetone remover and my nails looked like the pictures. Flaking and chipped, just sad looking nails. Now, this was not the first time I used the Barielle, I’ve had it since Dec 2021 and had originally been purchased it because my nails were chipping and flaking. The product didn’t make my nails any better when using it as intended. It seemed to always make my nails worse. I stopped using it and just waited out my nails to grow. I used Hard as Hoof to help while my nails grew out. Hard as Hoof is fantastic and works really well when you use it as instructed. However, Hard as Hoof is just a cream and I wanted polished nails. Prior to using Barielle this last time I had polished my nails NOT using Barielle as a base coat and had no issues leaving that polish on for about 2 weeks and, again, removing it with non-acetone remover. I gave my nails a break of about 1 week before using it as the base to the clear coat. I think based on my experience it’s clear that Barielle is the issue and doesn’t work for me. When you apply it on chipped or flaky nails, your nails do look great at that moment; I suspect most posted pictures are of just that-a quick pic right after application. This product did not work for me, I had high hopes that it did but it has actually caused even more damage to my nails. I hope this honest review helps others select the right product for them.

The old you get the more uneven, your nail bed is. This product makes all the bumps and ridges go away and when you put your colored nail polish on, it will look smooth just the way it’s supposed to look.
