This is exactly what I wanted but the medium is too small. (I measured 6” exactly and picked medium. Bad move. I have just ordered a large to fix the problem I’m about to describe.) Specifically, the band that is supposed to wrap around the wrist lands partially on the palm and as I hope you can see from the photo means the band will not sit properly. (You can see it pulls down as the top is on my palm and I put the strap around my wrist—the band should be 10% around my wrist and not cause a gap at the top of the hole. Compare to merchant photo and you’ll see what I mean.)Otherwise, this is perfect. The straps provide plenty of adjustment; unlike similar items there are two finger straps I stead of one (more adjustable and provides more stability). The inside has a small amount of comfort padding, which is just right. It’s nice that the metal bands are removable for washing. The Velcro sticks and stays. Unlike another product I tried, this one immobilizes or provides very, very little movement where the finger meets the palm (important for the specific problem I am trying to address).

I sprained my pinky finger, which has turned out to be pretty uncomfortable. Ordered this brace and received it next day. It supports and protects my finger much better than the splint I received from urgent care. Very happy with this purchase!

I have been unsuccessful at removing the stays. I would prefer to bend the stays for comfort but I will have to live with them straight. I was the splint with the stays still in it - so far AKO.

Fits well/ not hot/ easy to put on

Even though it’s an adult size small, it fits my 5 year old perfect. He broke a bone in his hand by his pinky. The doctor said it was very minor and he would be more comfortable in a splint and recommended something like this. I looked online forever and couldnt find anything like this for kids. So after measuring, I took a chance on this one since it was the smallest adult one I could find. I bought a second one so we can switch them out when cleaning it.
