If you are grilling one single piece of steak for yourself, get this little charcoal grill. It is all cast iron construction, built well, is sturdy and handles heat very well.... yes, it does get hot. Amazing for searing. Nothing against Weber however dragging out a 22.5 inch charcoal grill to make a single steak becomes fuel wasteful so this little grill takes just enough coals to light up a steak and that is it. As with all and everything cast iron, maintenance is key to keeping away issues like rust and cracking. When you are done grilling, let the grill cool down completely, clean out the ash and grate and oil the grate to prevent rusting. Never use cold water to cool down a hot cast iron grate because the grate will crack.

I think it's a fair price for what you are getting. I was expecting something "less." It appears to be well-made and with a good finish. The packaging was excellent and the instructions are top notch. It is made in China but I have never gotten a product from there with such concise, well-written and thoughtful instructions. They include tips and information regarding the characteristics of cast iron, how to maintain it, storage etc. Impressive. I just got the grill and have not used it yet but seeing all this I have no concerns or worries about the product, whatsoever.

Well made, works as advertised. Grilled a strip steak and got a nice char with it.I wish they would design and include a two-pronged tool to be able to lift and adjust thecast iron grill top, that would be very useful. It is small - but that's what I like: saves charcoal,I use it when it's just me and my wife, fire up the big grill for when there's more people.

It is small but there is me and my grandson and I do not grill a lot so this works for US. Take a couple of grilling to master this but I will. RecommendLouis USA

This is the best barbeque ever. Don't need much but 16 briquettes for 3 hours of cooking. I made rice..red lentils and chicken all in 1 hour 15 minutes time. I just love it.

This thing is definitely heavy due to being very nice cast iron parts for the whole thing except the handle I love the quality of that but it absolutely does not have any instructions says it's a user manual but isny just tells you how to prep and what happens after heat is applied! It would be nice if it told you how to put in the flow hold since it actually works backwards from what the manuals photo shows lol it's held together with two screws and two nuts it has a good hood even! I like that using cast iron has none and produces no toxic chemicals onto the food or in the air! Absolutely perfect for camping or roasting marshmallows whatever your passion! I wish it was more simplified in contracting the tiny grill! The bottom where it sits together and you scre in has a tiny gap about a centimeter or so . With that said be mindful using it around areas with lots of leaves or dry patches and DO NOT use this inside your home lol! Outside of that it's absolutely awesome!
