HDmirrorR Art Nouveau Charles Rennie Mackintosh Wall Plaque Pair

I bought these as a present for someone else and I've seen them mounted on their wall.They are beautiful to look at ( the advert pictures are pretty accurate)Though not important for something that's hung on a wall, in terms of tactility they feel really nice to touch, they're pretty solid. The relief ( the design sticks out as in 3D) is beautifully done and I felt drawn to run my fingers over them.McIntosh artwork is very popular where I live ( Scotland) and much of his work is still very much alive, buildings, furniture, artwork and more still exist in everyday life.These plaques do him justice, you won't be disappointed.

This was a total Christmas home run. After the 2019 'Wish' extravaganza I knew the pressure would be on in 2020. Although my better half smiled I knew that the 23 £1 rings didn't hit the spot. Although an essential oil diffuser sounds nice it helps if it isnt squashed flat in transit and actually works.Anyway these are two beautiful wall hangings and if your better half likes art nouveau she will have heard of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and you too will have scored some much needed bonus points. Lovely plaques, excellent quality. They just didn't go with the brass bedstead and the other antique brass items I have as they were too dark in colour. Don't let that put you off though as I would recommend these lovely plaques if you have the right environment for them.

Look much more expensive than they were. Highly recommend

These were a little smaller than I'd hoped and more dark bronze colour than brass, but still look lovely in my bedroom. Extremely solid and good quality. Very pleased with them.

I purchased these items as a 40th gift for a friend who lives in a restored art deco house that has many original art deco features throughout the property. Even though these cast bronze plaques are not originals, they are so well made and close to the authentic originals of Charles Renee Mackintosh's designs that they sit well in all the original art deco splendour of their setting.
