Threads fray with continued use on a large piece

The best wool thread
This Valdani wool thread is not only beautiful but holds together well. I used the thread when sewing a hand stitched wool applique. It held together nicely after being pulled through wool repeatedly. The strands didn't unravel. The colors are beautiful and the softness is incredible.

Great for sweater repairs
My sweaters have developed holes over time so I did research on sweater repair. This yarn is perfect for repairing sweaters

Didn’t work for me
I tried to use this to do some embroidery stitches on a felt piece. It was simply not strong enough, shredded and fell apart.I had to take all the work out! Not sure what this is intended for but not strong!
