This product is obviously generally used for infants / babies / toddlers, but is also excellent to use if you care for an adult who wears diapers. The bags do not hold as much as it would for non-adult diapers, but still holds fair amount. We find that we need to replace the inner bag two to three times a week at most. It does an amazing job at keeping the smell in. Regarding functionality, we appreciate how low tech it is, nothing to plug in and is very user friendly. It is easy to clean and really helps with keeping the smell down, which can be particularly difficult with an adult who has incontinence issues.

Great gift set for a new mom. It has a lot of refills which YOU’LL need. For a new mom though, you may consider a normal trash can if you’re tight on money- they work just as well. This trash can is easy to use, and clean. Great design overall.

A great buy! I love this diaper genie. My baby is 18 months now and we are still using it with no issues.

This diaper pail is very easy to use and completely prevents diaper odor.However, it is somewhat over advertised. It says refills last for one year, however it only lasted for three months for my newborn. I change diapers about 8 times a day. I do not think it's much above average.So, when thinking whether or not to buy, you should consider that you will have to buy refills in 3 months. If you can afford that, this pail is worth the cost.

My granddaughter loves it

We bought this for all the dirty diapers we were going to experience. This was the best bang for your buck and had some great reviews. We liked the height of it vs a couple other brands/styles. Unfortunately when ours arrived, it did not have the filter in it. I contacted the company and after some purchase confirmation, they sent us a pack of filters! We throw all her dirty diapers in there and we do not smell them, unless it's too full and the lid doesn't fully shut. It took me a few times changing it to find a way that worked best for me. I also love that the lid sits flush and is very hard to pry open, which I am sure will come in handy in the future. You have to step on the pedal for it to open, which is great! Especially if you have a curious cat at home that always tries to get into everything. We love the diaper genie! It has been 4 months and we still have 5 refills left!
