If there was an option to give this precious Buddha more stars I would! I was so excited to receive it because of the story behind each Buddha, all hand carved and NOT machine made. It holds true meaning, made in Vietnam where the late Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh is from. The quality and meticulous handcarved Buddha is so detailed that it took my breath away once I carefully opened the protective hard box and unveiled the workmanship inside. It just makes it that more special to me. A lot of love, energy, and mindfulness, has gone into this very unique Buddha that found its way to me. The scent of the statue has that of green cypress wood, and the mala beads smell so exotic. The size of the statue is perfect!! Not too big or small and will sit on my meditation altar. If you are looking for a Buddha statue or contemplating purchasing one for yourself or as a gift, shop from this small business in Vietnam. These are definitely value for money.

A wonderful piece very well done. The mala is cheapish but the statue is well done and a good size. Had this for awhile now just wanted to add how great this statue is. Highly recommend.
