Most annoying garbage template process ever... but they seem to work
I haven't even used these yet and I HATE THEM SO MUCH!!Avery, fix your website! I tried more than a dozen times to download the template. You have two choices when you do this. 1) Download the template AND the ASK Toolbar (WTF does that have to do with anything, AVERY?!) or 2) you can download the template alone.Of course I tried option 2... but repeatedly received a 504 Gateway Timed Out error. Finally, I gave in and downloaded the stupid toolbar. Fortunately, you can actually skip the installation of the toolbar, but you'll need administrator access to your computer to use this process... you aren't working in an office environment are you? Because you'll need a trip to the IT department to give you permission to run the SOFTWARE required to CHANGE INFORMATION ON YOUR HARDDRIVE just to download a Word document. This is nothing but stupid invasive crapware. Avery should be ashamed of themselves...Then, once you have the JOKE of a template, it's filled with graphics you have to manually delete one by one to clean the template before you can use it. Once you delete the little logos from each of the 20 circles, you also have to delete some text that runs the circumference of the circles... it's nearly impossible to get your mouse to pick up this text, so I had to click between 5 and 10 times on each circle to get it to select the text so I could delete it too. Really!? Why do I have to clean a template before use!? But, alas, that's not all. The circles in the template PRINTS! C'mon guys... they should be a guide, not actual printing artwork. So, I'm about 30 minutes into this labeling project and all I've done is download the template and clean out the garbage that came with it. What a complete pain. If you're an employer considering purchasing these, understand the labor hours you'll pay to get things labeled is even more expensive than these pages of overpriced stickers.Do they work? I don't know. I'll edit my review when I've had them a couple weeks... for now, just know they are EXTREMELY Annoying to use.UPDATE: After fighting with the terrible template, I was finally able to print on them. They seem to work quite well. The ink is not rubbing off. Hopefully they hold up for a while.

Works for needs
I coach track and was in a bind. I made backs for the medals with color and events/place. They stuck really well and look good.

Excellent choice for clear labels.
I bought these labels to put on plastic honey jars and printed them using a laser printer. They really worked out well. The labels are very durable and rubbing them aggressively with a towel (to smooth out bubbles) didn't damage it. But I was able to scratch the text off using my finger nail and rubbing the label with my finger after getting it wet slowly eroded the text. I was able to remove the label from a few of the jars where I wasn't happy with the design I had printed without damaging the jar and with a minimal amount of residue sticking to the jar.The perforated bend lines helped with removing the labels and made it pretty easy to peel the labels off.To design the labels, I started out using a downloadable template from Avery but that didn't work out and ended up using the Avery website to design the labels instead. Using their website to design the labels is definitely the way to go and made it fairly easy. Because these labels are clear and my honey jars were clear, the colored text I selected was very hard to read when I put the labels on the jars. My suggestion if you are using it in a similar situation is to pick a font that'll let you bold the text, and just use black for the font color.

These were absolutely perfect for making labels for the tops of my new spice rack bottles. I prefer my spices be labeled on the tops rather than the sides, because I like to see the spices, and my spice rack sits them on their sides. These fit the lids perfectly and they were easy to print using the downloadable template for microsoft word. My only small gripe is that they do bubble when you put them on glass or metal, so you need to use something to really smooth out the bubbles after applying them, as the bubbles are pretty noticeable because these are crystal clear labels.

NOT FOR FULL COLOR LASER!
I tried to use these as a full color label on my laser printer. Easy to use, easy to work, but the toner scraped right off the label! Useless!

Great product label
I love these labels for my products, one of the few labels that does not smear easy. Perfect size for my needs.

labels great but template lacking
I found the template that you can download from the website lacking. it was impossible to change color or font and I could not make an entire sheet of the same label but had to cut and paste my logo/image into each one of the template locations. The website with the online template was better, but it did not have wording encircling the image like the downloadable temple. I wish there were more choices or ways of customizing the templates. That said, after all the images were pasted and printed, it looked GREAT. I would recommend this to anyone with patience for making the first sheet template.

Perfect
These works perfectly for my wedding project. Downgraded one star because some of the labels were creased but otherwise they worked awesome. You could not see the crease either once they were applied. I could not get the Avery template to load on word however Avery has an awesome website that let me design exactly what I needed.

Work well, with tweaks
Using these for the 2" dia. white cap spice jar racks - to replace 30 year old grungy Avery 5293 paper labels. Some reviews mention the printing comes off, and that they're sort of "matte".It seems Avery applies a top coating/layer of water based adhesive/gum in order to accommodate inkjet printers.I cleaned off the "water soluble" layer carefully with a wet cloth, let it dry & used a careful wiping of glass cleaner later, until the surface felt smooth & made sure the sheets were absolutely dry.Ran them through the laser printer with no problems. The printing is staying on with water or even trying to scratch it.. seems good so far.Too bad Avery couldn't offer a separate inkjet AND laser version (sans the water soluble adhesive/coating)
