Great value and very strong steel but wear gloves and long sleeve shirt when installing.
Nice fence for the price but you must be very careful unrolling it.It is coiled very compactly and has great tension on it.Gloves and long sleeves for safety is a must. The fence vertical lines are wrapped to the horizontal lines. The end or the vertical wrapped coils catch and hang. They are very sharp and the roll coiled tension releases spinning motion with sharp sawing action from the wrapped ends. They could cause the need for stitches.

Not for cows. I have no idea what this flimsy wire could be used to pen.
Hated this wire. Wasted my money on it. Messed up and decided to use it although it was flimsy with 6” X 9” holes which were larger than I realized. I mistakenly thought it might do as we needed it and didn’t want to wait on ordering replacement wire after opening and seeing how flimsy it was. Since I cut and used it, I couldn’t return. Ended up replacing it on Day 3 with better wire as this wouldn’t hold a Yorkie in, much less a cow unless you put up posts to hold it a foot apart and expected the posts to keep the cows in instead of the wire.

Great as a livestock fence for sheep
I added this to my existing barbwire fence, and it works great. Much cheaper than ifa or tractor supply co. It stretched tight and is a good option for sheep or even goats. We are using for sheep.

Quality fencing but limited to light weight/light stress applications
Most field fences have a top and bottom wire that is significantly larger in gauge than the webbing/field) wire. This is where your fence gets its strength (and allows tensioning the fence). Every field fence I've seen or owned (except this one) had larger/stronger top and bottom wires. I should have surmised this based on its shipping weight (it's about half the total weight of a 164' of heavy duty (typical farming) fencing (with 10 or 12 gauge top and bottom wires.).Near as I can tell, this fencing (or, at least the one I received) is built with all the same small gauge wire. The quality seems good, it's just that I'd call this fencing that's more for appearance and other light weight duty. I don't believe it would stay straight when used to contain small animals (e.g., goats, sheep, etc).
