Ready or Not, Here Comes Peanut Butter!: A Scratch-and-Sniff Book

The book cost 12.40 and the none of the peanut butter was scratch n sniff. It had a few smells...a tree, the fence, the sky. A very misleading product. You order a scratch n sniff book about peanut butter, that is what you expect. Not the case. What a bummer...

The book is cute, like the others but man, this is the STINKIEST scratch and sniff book I've ever opened! I have 4 kids and used to teach so I've been around a lot of these type of books and the majority of the smells in this particular book are disgusting. Even my 5 and 4 year olds hated them. Pretty sad since we love this series

Our son loves scratch and sniff books and the hide-and-seek storyline is really fun! My only minor complaint is that some of the scents don't smell like what they're supposed to be, but I know this is often the case with these books. Overall, very cute!

These peanut butter books, by Terry Border, are great! I know a three year old and a five year old that love them and listen over and over again. The three year old tried to read it to himself! They are funny and fun, sure to be a hit if you need some children's books.

This is a cute story, but only half the scents are good and the ones that do smell good don't really match the description.

Kids love scratch and sniff books and they are hard to find. I was happy to find this one, but the kids did not like it at all because it was a short and dumb story and nothing smelled like it was supposed to. Just a smell-- Peanut butter smells like dryer softener sheet. Not fun at all.

I bought this book for my grandson. There was no peanut butter smell and the odors wer e too faint.

My son loves peanut butter so I was confused that this particular book with a peanut butter character had no peanut scented scratch and sniff sticker.The other stickers are absolutely nothing like what they are meant to smell of. For example, "French fries" smelled like vanilla and "chocolate icecream" smelled like baby sick. More than a bit disappointing for the £10 paid for the book!

I am a huge fan of Terry Border and have a number of his food photography books. His designs are fun and whimsical. When I discovered that he had a children's book series I was thrilled and even more excited for a scratch and sniff version, so I purchased this book immediately. Although the concept of the story is cute and the scratch and sniff feature is a perfect match with the hide and seek theme, the actual scents are "yucky" as my daughter says. They really do not smell like the food they are suppose to represent. The cupcake smells like perfume, the hamburger smells like a combination of possible dill (okay maybe its suppose to be a pickle?) and some of the other smells we could not guess at all. The closest was possibly the jelly, it almost smelled like a sickly strawberry (once you knew what it was suppose to be). I am very disappointed in the scratch and sniff scents. If I had seen this in the store and pre-sniffed it, I would not have ordered it.

It's a fun book, very cute. Some of the scratch and sniff smells miss the mark, but that's par for the course with scratch and sniff books - it doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment.

Worst scents ever. I'd rather ride public transit on a hot day.
