I got a cheapo TV from a big box store, and although the picture is great, the sound leaves something to be desired. So, I got a soundbar, and hooked it up. Even though it was running through the eArc output, I had to set it up every time I used the TV. I took a chance, and got this box, and now everything runs smoothly! I know that's not what everyone is going to use this for, and I'm sorry I can't comment on that, but for me, it solved my problems, and I'm happy with it!
