My pool pump just went out and I found this one which was the same size as my current pump. Hard to beat the price on this pump compare to my existing pump that failed. This pump has some weight to it. It came with the fittings to be able to glue them to the PVC. I like that could either option 120 volts or 240 volts to wire up the pump. So far the pump has worked well. We have winterized the pool for the winter and well see how well it works next year.

I am using this LINGXIAO Single Speed Pool Pump 1.5HP, 115/208-230V, 6900GPH, for a water feature in our yard instead of a swimming pool. It is a replacement for the old pump that got hit by lightning. Installing it was a simple drop-in replacement. The plumbing and electrical were a matchup, making the switch out very fast and easy. This pump moves a bit more water than our previous pump did, and that's not bad since the extra volume in the waterfall is appreciated.The pump is no louder than the previous one or our 1.5HP swimming pool pump. The filter basket is easily accessible and comparable to other replacement pumps. I like that this pump has two drain ports: one for the filter basket housing and the other for the pump chamber. Switching between 115V and 230V is not complicated, as shown on the seller's page. The pump housing is durable, and the motor housing is sealed against the weather. The pump includes the necessary adapters to match the schedule 40 PVC piping. You will need additional adapters if you are hooking up to those flexible above-ground pool hoses.
