Long learning curve
A very long learning curve for me. The reviews helped me figure the steamer out. Although it said the steamer was ready to steam, the light would go out, it would not steam. I was a little scared of the pressured steam. Finally I realized I had to press the trigger very hard. When I did, it first scared me. I had unplugged it several times and spent hours to re read the instructions until I got it to work properly. Once I figured it out, it worked very, very well. Highly recommended now

Works for cleaning everything! I love it...
I love this thing. I bought a car that had been outside sitting with water getting in it so it had mildew all over it. I cleaned it with this steamer and man it removed at least 85% of the mildew. Takes about 10 minutes to heat up not 5. But other than that works very well!

Takes a lot of effort to release steam
This steam cleaner works pretty well for removing the grime out of my grout. It doesn’t fully restore it to white, but it looks much better than before! You can see the before (top right) and after (bottom left) in my picture. It’s noticeably cleaner and whiter, and looks much better. My two biggest criticisms: the trigger takes a lot of effort to push, and you need to keep it pressed to release steam. My thumbs are sore and tired because it takes so much energy to keep pressed down. I wish there was just a lock/unlock switch and an easier to use trigger. I’m not a fan of that design since it makes the tool ineffective for larger cleaning jobs.My second criticism is that the water tank is so small. I only got through a few large tiles worth of grout before it ran out of water. The small water tank makes the product lighter, but that’s not a huge benefit to me when the trigger is so hard to keep pressed down in the first place.5 stars for cleaning power, 3 stars for design / usability.

Good machine concept but the design lacks easy functionality.
The media could not be loaded. ASMR. OK if TLDRThe little things that make me happy on my day off. 🤦🏽♀️😃This is a follow up to my post asking if anyone else used a steam cleaner to clean their appliances. Our Air Fryer gets almost daily use and was caked with a brown layer of grease… remnants of which can still be seen in this ‘after’ video. I wish I had taken a ‘before’ video. I am pleased with the performance of the Bissell Steam Shot Omnireach that I bought.I also cleaned the greased up exhaust fan above the stove, the dishwasher and the white kitchen cabinets so far.I have some complaints though. The water capacity is only 6.6 ozs. And you have to wait five minutes for pressure valve to release to refill the machine. It is tough to hold the pressure button on at all times with one hand while you are blowing steam with the nozzle with the other hand. I wish it was a simple on/off switch so I could have a free hand to wipe the grease/gunk with a wash cloth as I loosen it with the steam.Overall for an occasional deep cleaning it’s a good machine but the design is lacking in functionality. B+

Great cleaning tool
Did not even know what I was missing in my cleaning routines without one of these and now that I have it I could not imagine cleaning without it! Really helps clean up messes in hard to reach areas. Has definitely stepped up our cleaning game and love all the attachment heads.

This is an awesome product! Read the instructions and it works properly
This is AWESOME! I bought this today and used it on my new carpeting we put in our rec room. We had a patch of glue on the carpet from a taped down dart throwing line. I thought the carpet was ruined. We tried everything to remove the glue from the carpet. We used this little Bissell steamer and the glue came right up with no residue or marks in the carpet! It saved $2500 worth of carpet from having to be replaced! It’s paid for itself in 10 minutes! Takes stains out of carpet really well too.

small jobs only
I purchased the Bissell Steam Shot after my other steam cleaner broke. It had plenty of reviews and the price point was cheaper and seemed like it was more durable. There are quite a few drawbacks to the Bissell although. It takes a small amount of distilled water and about 15 minutes to heat up. There is just one output steam setting. You have to press a button and lever to get the steam out, so it makes cleaning harder especially if you are using the extension hose. While Im on that point, due to the fact that you have to steam and then put down to clean said item I am not sure how much is being sanitized because of the cooling the steam undergoes as your getting your cloth to clean said mess. I think this is an issue if you are using it to sanitize something like a bathroom toilet, it's more so pushing pee out of crevices and then you are rubbing it reheated cooled pee all over. I make sure to still use a cleaner to disinfect post steam clean. Another issue I have faced is due to the small reservoir you can only tackle smaller cleaning jobs, after heating for 15 minutes and running the machine for a bit the red light turns on and has to reheat. If by chance you run out of water and have to refill you have to unplug the machine and let it completely cool since its pressurized till the red button in the middle drops all the way down can then be twisted off to refill. I will say the steam is not as hot as I would like it and there is no way to adjust steam output for peskier jobs, although I'm sure the reheat for this said machine would be even more horrendous if there was an output adjustment. Overall I believe you get what you pay for and this was definitely on the cheaper / more reliable side of steam cleaners, great for small jobs or target areas. I wouldn't advise purchasing this if you wanting to clean a full bathroom top to bottom on deep clean days due to the heat output, machine warming, and reservoir.
