Works well
I am amazed at how nice the pictures come out. I was a little skeptical at first but it has been fun being able to instantly print a picture. I will get a lot of use out of it. Mine is the 4x6 size, I felt the 2x3 was just too small for what I wanted.

Low Quality Print / Cartridge Malfunction
I was super excited for this product. I printed my first photo and there are areas where you can see the different color passes (random red spots throughout). The image itself also came out a little blurry. The second picture I tried to print came out absolutely awful (one pass of yellow and 1/3 red, wouldn't finish printing) and now I can't even print because the cartridge jammed. The printer says I don't have a cartridge in after cleaning it up. Disappointing since you have to buy another pack of paper to have the cartridge.

Not a bad mini-dye sub printer for journaling or scrapbooking
This is a dye sub printer so it is more vibrant than say a laser or inkjet printer and it looks better for photos, but there is a common problem that it prints with a little too much red. So usually, I have to do a test print, than adjust all the photos a little cooler (adding blue) in order to get the whites and skin tones right. As a graphic designer, not hard for me, but some might be disappointed with the prints right out of the box. They simplify the supplies process by making the ink and paper in the same package, but if the ink goes, then the paper is wasted. Or if you lightly print and use the paper first, the ink is good but you've run out of paper. For me, I usually run out of color first. In that way this system can be expensive to run, so this is best used for one-offs where color and sharpness is not that critical like journals, diaries, or scrapbooks. For anything else, a larger photo printer is better.

Easy to use 4x6 photo printer
I had the canon photo printer for years. It was pretty easy to use. This is very similar to the Canon version. It uses Dye diffusion film, no inks at all. Which produce much better quality images then the ink jet printers. Don't need to worry about cleaning the print head or anything. The paper will need to feed through the printer 4 times, to get all the colors imprinted on to the paper. Once its done, it does look like the traditional developed photos. But keep in mind this is NOT an actual polaroid film photos. This is still a digital photo printed. Unlike the instax photo printers, they produce an actual analog photo, from the chemicals. I do like the design and the color of this printer. The white and the red style. Very cute. I do wish there is some type of battery option, so I can use it remotely, when I am not in the office. (Canon version does have the battery option)

compact of the compact printers
I've seen a couple portable printers and I'd say this is one of the more compact printers out of the bunch. Other models from other brands have more buttons and other 'features' that are pretty lackluster. This printer is more straight to the point and does everything within the app. You've got the usual filters and some other editing options. As someone who doesn't read manuals, set up was a breeze and I didn't have too much trouble putting things together. The ribbon only fits one way so you can't mess that up, and the paper tray was a little confusing at first but it clicked in nicely. The prints come out nice but it does take a while for it to come out. It works like most other dye sub printers which use a ribbon to print out the colors one by one. The paper can be put in any way so you will have to rip off the edges. They're perforated but they don't always rip that easily.I wish they came out with a battery option so I could truly use the portability of this.
