Smoothe like butta
They sound great at $165 and the bass is deep, good slam and textured. Worth every penny and they fit super comfoetable (you can even lay on your side with them in) not to mention the are quite pretty to look at well designed Meze. Plus their not made in China but in Romania so kudos Meze. Just get them their well built, look awesome amd sound great in lows, mids and highs are not sizzly. The cable is thin with only a 3.5 termination but doesnt tangle and is hella soft, the stock tips are actually really good and provide a good seal. The sound these produce matches any genre of music and has well extended textured bass

Amazing IEM's for everyday use
Meze Alba are amazing IEM's for the price they have amazing objective and subjective qualities. Imaging and Soundstage are really good, not the absolute best but they are really GOOD like 8.5-9/10 good in their price range, the frequency response however is a 10/10 it's just so smooth, it has a good amount of bass without the muddyness, the vocals are amazing. It doesn't sound V-shaped yet the bass and vocals are just so wonderful. The treble is PERFECT it's very clear and detailed without sounding overly bright. I can't stand overly bright treble so many flagships crank the treble up so high and call it "detail". Yes most detail is found in the midrange and highs but it gets to a point where it's "artificial treble" and these Alba's do it just right. Comfort is really nice make sure you use the right size eartips you Need a tight seal!!! Build quality is fantastic, aesthetics are amazing as well, 10/10 iem's.

Big Things Come in Small Packages
I highly recommend you to use Final Audio Type E ear tips. The fitment/proper seal really matters with this IEM.I have earbuds/iems/headphones from $10-$400 and these small gems will surprise you in many ways. I wasn’t expecting the bass to be as good as it is but it’s tight/bit punchy, a very respectable amount of sub bass, and the separation of sound overall is very very good. These were also the first headset I experienced a “break-in” period - I absolutely hated them the first week of use, the sound was so bright that after 30 mins of listening I needed a complete break from ANY loud noise period, very fatiguing. I almost returned them, but a friend told me to give them another week, and I’m glad I listened to him because I’m here writing this review 2 months later.Lastly, I very much appreciate the premium boxing and accessories.

Pleasant Tuning for All Day Listening
I had Moondrop Kato and THIEAUDIO Hype 4 before this and they were great but would cause fatigue due to the shape of the shells in my ear. My priority was to switch to a comfortable IEM and this one hits the spot and since I'm not an audiophile looking for the meta tuning like Crinacle, this is worth the price.I have the DUNU and Divinus Velvet ear tips but I kept the stock tips and haven't bothered to swap since these IEMs just feel like they're not on. The sound signature isn't harsh in my opinion so my audio levels don't need to change depending on the content I am using them for. I primarily use them while using my desktop and it makes me not consider anything else because the whole package is worth it, some people just chase the sound with however many drivers that can fit in the IEM but if you only can wear it for 20 minutes, then doesn't seem worth it.

I really want to love this
The cable is thin and it tangles, that really got to me bc every time I use it I spend at least 2-3 min trying to untangle it. Sorry I really want love this iem the design looks great it’s small and light. I just wish the cable was better. I didn’t want to spend an extra $200 cable and then the total price of this iem is like $350+

I use these every day.
I usually tell people that collecting audio gear manages to be both the best and the worst hobby in the world. The pleasure one can get from really surrendering to music is almost otherworldly. I love listening to songs that I'm really familiar with and discovering new things about it. Like, I learned personally that Lars Ulrich is a pretty meh drummer even though I really like Metallica.I got these after my wife bought me Meze Audio's 109 Pros and those are great. I was curious how their IEMs would sound and all said and done, I use these daily. Meze has amazing build quality and I love the look of these compared to other EVs. They're light and comfortable and for the price, they're better than most that I've been toying with lately. I've been buying IEMs recently to just play around and see what else is out there and I keep coming back to the Albas. The one thing I will say is that I switched the silicon tips for a better seal. If I had to complain about one thing is that the photos aren't accurate. These IEMs aren't as white as they look in photos. They're more of an off white and that did disappoint me. The white ear tips they come with make the color contrast even more apparent, but by choosing smoke colored ear tips, it makes it more visually palatable personally.

Fantastic Audio Quality - with a few upgrades
First, these are absolutely beautiful and are my first real pair of IEM's. When I first got them, I used the included dongle dac and the included cable on my S22 Ultra. I thought the highs were harsh and I had to use PEQ to calm them down. I then bought a Questyle M15i dongle dac and the balanced cable from Meze. The change in audio quality was tremendous. Like night and day tremendous. I no longer needed PEQ, the bass gained more impact, and the highs became clear, smooth, and lost all their harshness. I know it turns the Albas into about a $400 total purchase but to take them to their full potential I feel it's worth it. The Albas aren't the limiting factor; the rest of the included equipment is.
