Good for splitting kindling
I got a chance to use it today and it’s better than using a hatchet. I split some wood down to kindling size I also like the tote bag that comes with it comes in handy when carrying the wood inside

Game Changer
I've lived in my house for just over two years now but I only just got my first delivery of firewood a few weeks ago. The delivery was left outside my door, where I asked for it to be. I imagine this is common practice, but I hadn't yet set up the rack to hold the wood so there was nowhere else for it to go anyway.I put together the rack and now had the daunting task of moving the wood, piece by piece, inside to dry off from the elements. Slowly but surely I managed to bring in a few logs at a time, allowing them to dry before stacking them on the rack. It was exhausting and taking way too long. Then this little item came into my life. What a world of difference! Now instead of grabbing two logs at a time (or three at the most) and moving them from point A to point B, I can load this up with five, six, seven and move them in a fraction of the time.It holds a lot of wood and, if I could carry more weight, I could certainly fit more logs, further reducing the number of trips it would take to load the rack. Not to mention, I only have to make one trip from the garage to the house when I want to start a fire or load up the indoor rack.I'm so glad I found this when I did. It would have been a long, cold winter otherwise.

I like this better than a wheelbarrow
We live on a heavily wooded lot, and every year have to deal with trees that have either fallen down or need to be cut down. Moving wood from one place to another was generally done with a wheelbarrow, which became cumbersome. The wood had to be loaded, pushed to the woodpile, dumped, and then stacked. I saw this neat little tool and I am so glad I did. Believe it or not, I find it easier to carry the wood than to push it in the wheelbarrow. The log holder is made of strong canvas, and all of the stitching is done well. The handle is comfortable to grip, and there is a strap to help secure the wood inside the carrier so it doesn't fall out. This thing really holds a lot of wood! And the good thing it, I can take it right up to the log holder to be stacked, which saves me a step. I can see myself using this when I do my yard clean up in the spring. The carrier will easily hold long branches that need to be picked up and taken to be shredded. This is a great little tool to have if you have a fireplace and burn wood to heat your house; just fill the carrier up and bring the wood right where you need it. I recommend it highly.

This review is for a carrier, not a splitter
There was a bit of confusion on the Amazon side of what this product really is. I ordered a log carrier though the description calls out it's a log splitter. I received the log carrier and this review is for that. The carrier is sturdy canvas with decent stitching. The two ends come together with handles on each side. So the idea is you lay the carrier down flat next to your wood pile. Put your logs on the carrier, and then pick up the handles on each side. As long as you don't overload it, you can then carry your logs gripped in 1 hand. It's pretty strong, I put about a dozen medium sized (3-4") logs in the carrier and was able to carry them to the house without fear of dropping any or the carrier splitting. I'd say that was roughly about 30 pounds of logs. So all in all, I'd say this is a pretty decent product.

Heavy Canvas, Quality Wood Tote
This is exactly what I hoped it would be - a quality, thick canvas tote for bringing firewood from outside, inside. The straps are large enough to max out my carrying capacity as a grown man and it's also easy enough for my older children to use as well. They'll be happy to use the center latching strap (with eyelets) to secure their load before carrying the bag. The last carry bag we had was not nearly this well made and it lasted us almost 5 years before it fell apart. I expect much better longevity out of this one, especially considering the heavy duty, quality stitch work around perimeter of the bag . Highly recommended.

Sturdy and Comfortable: The Ideal Canvas Firewood Tote
I recently ordered this canvas firewood tote, and it's been incredibly useful. Its construction is solid, featuring some thoughtful touches for added comfort and safety. The handgrip, padded with velcro, makes it comfortable to carry a heavy load of wood. Additionally, there are buckles to secure the carrier, ensuring logs stay put during transport. Overall, I'm very pleased with this tote. It offers great functionality and performance at a value price.

Great quality
This was a nice surprise for my husband, it has made bringing wood into the house so much easier, no more splinters in the arms. The material is super high quality as well as the straps. It’s large so it can carry a lot at a time as well.
