Sound great and easy installation

I got the 300W pair. The front speakers in my car never worked and I got these so I could have some sound from the front. They do the job pretty well. They are noticeably quieter than my rear speakers (I used the same wiring, too).Pros:-Value - they sound surprisingly good for $25.-The kit was great, comes with everything you need.Cons:-At higher volumes, the sound quality drops a lot.That's really it. I haven't had any physical/mechanical issues. Install was straightforward. I'm happy with the value (good sound for such a low price), I just wish they were a bit louder.Bottom line: If you've only got $25 to spend on a pair of new speakers, you won't be disappointed with these.

I bought these have had them in my truck for a lil while now, they can take some bass but not too much but i barely use them for bass as i have 2 12" sub that i just put in that i use forbass. One blew pretty quick or it just isnt tightened down good enough, cant figure it out yet, but for $47 to replace all 4 speakers i wont complain. But if you have the bass up and the volume at a lower level it sounds great but if it gets too loud you get crazy distortion. so as of now im using these or my mids and subs for bass. I hate highs

Even though the Does It Fit said they would these DO NOT fit a 93 Pathfinder. The problem and frustration that I found was that the holes are slightly off from the originals and the flange along the edge isn't quite as flat as the originals and there is no way to make these work unless I actually cut out the metal in the door and roof which I'm not about to do. It's frustrating that the industry does not set a standard. I tried 4 sets and finally found the Rockford Fosgate worked but still with some modification.I did hook one of these up and as they are they sound decent for door speakers. I built a trunk where I have two 6 X 9s and an amp that give me bass so for door speakers all I want are the mid and higher levels.

These are great speakers for the money from a stock sound system in a car Clearly you aren’t going to get a lot of bass from 5 x 7’s they’re not sub woofers you only get a certain amount of amps from a radio channel without going through an amplifier. Yeah of course crank it up it’s going to sound distorted and broken because you probably just blew them out not meant for that.When it says 300 W it means that’s what they can handle up to you they may not sound good like that but that’s what they can handle without blowingit ou when it says 300 W it means that’s what they can handle up to they may not sound good like that but that’s what they can handle without blowing out. otherwise great speakers

I purchased 2 sets of these, sounded decent until 1 started crackling 3 months after installation. I called warranty service from BOSS and they want you to send in the bad speaker along with a $30.00 money order to cover shipping back to you, plus you are responsible for shipping to them. Needless to say I had a few choice expletives for him. If you buy these just remember after 30 days you are on your own or it's actually cheaper just to buy a new set. CHINESE JUNK! Shame on me should have known better.
