Runs very well, though no shut off & not super strong
Although this is nothing fancy - a plastic frame with a UV light - it's reassuring to have around, especially if you're immunocompromised as I am. The instructions are super basic but it works as promised: push the button once for 15 min of disinfection, twice for 30 min and three times for 60 min. The remote control is great, even from the next room. There is a smell when you come back in, but I open the window and it's gone (it says it doesn't produce ozone). My two issues are that it doesn't have the automatic shut off (no big deal to me), but I'm not sure this version is supposed to? More importantly, I'm skeptical this will sterilize a 400sq ft room within an hour, even if you use an extension cord and pull it out into center of room. I have loads of work experience with serious overhead UV sterilization and those illuminate the whole room. This is pretty weak and small - I'm guessing it sterilizes about 6 ft around. Also, if you look closely at a testing report of another Dailytop unit with the same bulb - it says it killed 100% of dust mites...but within 8 cm and after two hours! I definitely think it works, but I'm moving it around via an extension cord to hit all areas and double treating some areas (two hours total - the bulb is getting a work out!). There's no mention of how to find a replacement bulb but says this one has 5000-8000 hours. Thankfully it's light and compact and a breeze to move around, so I'm having no difficulty using it.

My UV light
I still have bugs so it didn't work very well but I've only used it four or five times so maybe maybe it'll work but it has not as of now

Bright, easy UV light
This UV disinfecting light is easy to use. It certainly gets bright, and comes with plenty of warnings about being around it. I think the area it claims to be able to treat might be optimistic, but could be true for an open room. However, with furniture and such it seems less likely to be able to actually provide disinfecting qualities for the whole room. I used a fan to help circulate the air to hopefully get more potential pathogens into the light. That's right pathogens, go to the light! I think it will be helpful, especially this winter.

Works Well to Sterilize Room
Pretty bright light. We used it to sterilize an area after a stick soda pop spill that got behind the dishwasher. So for the are is still free of any microbes. Not a bad thing to pick up.

Did not work, two out of two units.
The first light I received did not not work. I got the 30 sec. count down beeps, then it just kept beeping, beep, beep, beep, and the light never came on. I called the service number that was included, and they had me try some things that did not work. I returned it for a replacement and it is doing the same thing. I will send this back and try another brand.

Timer and delay start
This UV light has multiple timer settings. It also delays beginning for 30 seconds to allow you time to leave the area before emitting light. Unfortunately, as with all of these devices, there is no true way to check effectiveness. But at least you are no worse after using it.
