This is the third one of these devices that we have bought over the years. The one we previously bought was no longer available so we had to move to this one. Honestly, all of these only work for a short period of time if you're not buying a commercial version, so keep that in mind when you buy it. It will not last forever. That said, if you follow the instructions, it is one of the funnest food event items that you can have. When it starts running, every guest is immediately wowed, and then everybody just starts pigging out. A lot of fun, and worth buying. It is kind of a pain to clean, but what would you expect from a gallon of liquid chocolate?

This wouldn’t work. The chocolate wouldn’t travel and fall as expected, since this was supposed to be my second one with a different chocolate color. I tried everything, but it still wouldn’t work.

The media could not be loaded. First time using it and it works as advertised. Just follow the instructions included to the T. One thing though, is a bit noisy but I think is something that will happen to any brand. As for the durability, I cannot tell at this time. We will see. I will update my review after a couple of months of using the unit.

This thing is amazing. Worked EXACTLY as advertised. Was the biggest hit of the party. Easy to take apart and clean as well. Only recommendation is to buy double the amount of chocolate you think you'd need. It's going to go quick!

Works great. Make sure to melt chocolate and add oil for thin consistency before pouring into base. Heating the base prior to use takes 10-15 min, not 3-5. Somewhat loud when running. Kids and adults loved it! Be sure to empty chocolate while still warm for ease with cleaning.

We purchased this fountain for our daughter’s joint birthday party. They decided against cake and wanted a chocolate fountain instead. We read the directions and purchased chocolate specifically designed for the fountain. We melted the chocolate making sure the consistency would flow correctly. After about 10 minutes the fountain stopped. The heating element continued to work but the foundation stopped flowing. We are 20 minutes from a major town an unable to make a trip to get but another one. I’m so disappointed !Save your money and use a rental company !
