The locks are smaller than I expected but they seem to be quite strong from my testing. I am using one of them to secure a lock box covering an outdoor light switch and another to secure a side gate to our backyard. Both are easy to use and work fine. The small size helps, in that it fits much better into the narrow hole opening of the light switch lock box. The side gate lock hole is larger, but the lock loop fits well. A larger lock may be better suited for the side gate, but these are the right size for the light switch. They are also good for gym or school lockers. Good value and a 5-star rating.

These are more of what I would consider "trust" locks. If someone wants to open it, it would not be hard. Barely more than a child's diary lock. But if in a gym and you just want someone to know the locker is in use, this will fit the bill.The confusion for me is why all the excess of keys??? It's 12 identical keys for 4 identical locks. Good thing I'm a mixed media artist, can't imagine what the average person will use them for. Maybe to bulk out a zipper?Peace and personal space

Seriously, what do you want for $9? These work great, which is kind of surprising for something this cheap. I needed a new lock for the gate to our back yard, since the old one was getting rusty and not working well. These locks say that they are indoor/outdoor locks. So, I used one of these locks.So far, the lock is functioning great. No problems. I have no complaints about these locks whatsoever. So, I have no option but to rate them 5 stars at the moment. I'll be back to revise my review if I am disappointed down the road.

I used two of these to lock my storage unit, which has two holes, and they worked perfectly. Of course, they might not be strong enough to protect your valuables if the facility isn’t secure, but since mine is already in a well-protected place, I felt that two of these were adequate.Each set of four comes with three keys, all of which are the same and can open any of the locks. So if you're someone who tends to misplace keys like I do, this is perfect.However, if you need something for higher security, these locks might be a bit too small and cute for that. For my needs, though, I’m quite satisfied with them. They offer good value in terms of overall quality, quantity, and price.

I needed a small lock for a cash box i use for my self-serve farm stand. This fit the bill. The shank is small enough to fit the smaller hole, and it is very nice looking. It is small, and I can't speak to how secure it is. My cash box will not ever have a lot of cash available, this is just a deterrent. For that it works perfectly. A set of four makes this a goof value and I am very pleased with these locks.

Great for small items that needs that extra security.It won't keep everyone out, but it should prevent those "crime of opportunities".Each lock came with 3 keys, so I got 12 identical keys for 4 identical locks.

My wife uses a padlock for her gym locker. Unfortunately, she occasionally misplaces the key or even the lock itself. I ordered this set for some spares. The lock is smaller than a typical padlock, but certainly sufficient for a gym locker. They work like any other padlock, and the set cost barely more than a single lock bought locally. Having 4 identical locks and 12 keys is perfect for this application. She should be all set for many months or even years into the future.

Set of budget locks. One of the locks once opened will not close. These a budget quality and would only just them for deterrence purposes.
