Fantastic Monitor - great colours, super smooth and excellent value!
Absolutely love this monitor. The colours are vibrant, the brightness is great, and the contrast is solid. The display is super smooth and sharp. It does have a little tint out the box but a quick tweak to the R/G/B values in the OSD fixes the white balance. Also love the design, looks very sleek on my desk. There's barely any input lag, and combined with the 180Hz refresh rate and g-sync, it's excellent for gaming. That said, there is a bit of backlight bleed which is noticeable when there's something dark on the screen, although to be fair it's not uncommon for an IPS panel. Overall though, it’s an awesome monitor for the price I paid (about £230).Edit: For anyone on Windows 10/11, go on Settings > System > Display > Colour management and turn off "Automatically manage colour for apps", it makes a night and day difference to the colours.

LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor 32GS85Q, 32 inch
The monitor itself is amazing for the price, setup was easy and instructions were clear, when you switch it on you have a little joystick type button below to navigate the different modes, but to get the colours, contrast, sharpness and other functions you have to go on LG.Com website and download the on screen app, now the picture quality and graphics are fantastic, you do get a DIsplayport cable in the box as well, refresh rate is really good or if you like playing RPG then expect nothing less than brilliant overall this is a really good monitor, I expected nothing less from LG, but I will say the monitor does not have internal speakers but then I use Bluetooth speakers anyway.

Perfect
Great monitor that’s just right for me. It’s the right size for my setup and the height adjustment has a good range. Responsive, great colours and works well in both dark and light conditions.

Solid 32" monitor
Coming from a 4K 27" panel (60Hz) I wanted to get a bigger size with higher refresh rates but wanted to save money on the GPU and avoid a 4K monitor, so I decided to go with the 32" 1440p.For anyone curious, 1440p at 32" is a notable step down in pixel density compared to 27" 4K so that took some getting used to.I would say for the price point and who this monitor is aimed at, it is a very solid choice. The picture quality is technically worse than my 27" BenQ but I bought that monitor specifically for photo editing. For gaming and general office use this is more than adequate and the 180Hz refresh rate is a notable improvement over 60fps gaming. One trick I have found to improve text clarity is to use Nvidia DSR (dynamic super resolution) to set the render resolution to 4K (2.25x) and let the GPU downsample back to 1440p. Not only does this make games look much sharper (it is essentially a better version of anti-aliasing), but it makes general Windows usage better as well.

Great if it works
Very sad to be returning this. The screen itself is excellent, if you don't want oled this is probably as good as it gets. The stand is so good, very very sturdy and easy to put together and easy to adjust.Bezels are nice and small. However, there is a fan in the back! Like an old TV. For me the fan made a terrible buzzing noise, the longer it was on the worse it got. I also noticed a little bit of vignetting.Overall it's really great but for me I can't risk another bad model!

Solid 1440P monitor
I bought this monitor to use alongside my 5070 ti and so far very happy with it.It has gsync build in at an affordable price. A high refresh rate 180hz which in my opinion is more than enough for any game thats not FPS.The power cable being a right angle barrel is a bit of an odd choice and can interfere with display cables so it has to be plugged in at an angle. The colour is what you expect from an IPS and all so support HDR when you requiring better colour accuracy. So this monitor is a good inbetween for gaming and productivity.

Monitor starts showing lines on the screen
Stay away from this item.Approximately a year after purchase, the monitor started showing horizontal lines on the screen (see attached image). A web search suggest that this is a common problem with this model. As this was still within warranty, I tried to get it replaced, but was just given a run-around.

Mixed-use desktop monitor
I use this monitor for work from home and non-competitive gaming at 4k and 144-240 fps+ Great contrast+ Black looks very dark in a lit background+ Full and real bandwidth DP 2.1 support+ No flicker, no fringing, no burn in risk+ High quality and smart construction without childish "gamer" decals, except for the "Ultragear" at the front which doesnt contrast.+ No fan or electrical noise- The left and right sides look hazy when reading text in a bright background such as day work. I think it is caused by IPS glow which follows the viewer. This made it unsuitable for professional work because Ilit is difficult to read text.- Matte panel with a lot of graininess that is noticeable at 50 cm, you have to sit at 80 cm to not see the grainy haze in white colour. I can notice the graininess and it makes the panel feel cheap and dated.- Lack of sufficient height adjustment, at the minimum it is still too high up from the desk to be comfortable- Back-light bleed is noticeable at dark room conditions, mine has a very intrusive haze at the top right which is distracting when the picture is very dark.- No option to disable DSCAll in all, I do not think this display is worth it because it still suffers from old flaws with LG panels that LG refuses to address, such as the matte panel and back-light bleed. Although it may be the best monitor you can get that is suitable for mixed desktop use.
