They say three's a charm, well they're not wrong.I went through two other thermometers before I FINALLY found this one.The others were hard to read, inaccurate and didn't work well.Not this one.It's easy to use.Easy to read.Accurate.Takes AAA batteries, so no need to recharge like some.So far I'm really happy with it.I'll come back and update in a few months to give an update.

Works great from my pool to my kitchen. I only wish it had an outside temperature probe to complete the awesomeness.

Followed instructions and tightened the lid as much as it would go (had hard time unscrewing to check) and it still leaked and product no longer works. Put in pool on Sept 2nd and lasted only 3 days.

We love that we can check the temperature in our hot tub from the comfort of our home inside instead of having to go outside and lift the cover. Very convenient. Works very well. Highly recommend. Easy to set up and is designed very well.

This electronic Pool thermometer is actually a great addition to our pool and makes it easy to know the temperature without having to walk outside and find the old floating thermometer in the pool.Setup was fairly easy and required 4 AAA batteries. Trying to line up the cover for the sensor was a little tough but once in place it easily tightened down and appears to be waterproof.The temp took a few minutes to sync once placed in the pool but the range on this thing is surprisingly good. It's at least 50-75 ft away from the sensor and through cement block walls of our home and still works perfectly. It also shows you the inside temp which is a nice plus! Will see how long it lasts as with anything involving water and sun tends to have a shortened life but for now it is a time saver and extremely convenient.

It took a few tries to connect the thermometer to the base station but after I finally got it to work, it has not lost connection a single time. It's made of sturdy plastic with a waterproof seal. The numbers are easy to read on both thermometer and base. Temperatures are also accurate and update quickly. Would definitely recommend

Switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit modes is a breeze with just the press of a button on the controller. It's really convenient.

UPDATE 2: 8 months later, the batteries in the main (pool) unit needed replacing. It was VERY difficult to unscrew the gray top. We almost gave up. Finally got it off, then had trouble separating the rest of the parts in the top. But once we got it all apart, we could dry the top parts (which only had a tiny drip or two of water on them) and wipe the little bit of condensation from inside the crystal. The inside of the unit was pristine and dry. We replaced the batteries, put it back together and it paired right away. Put it back in the pool and it's working great again.UPDATE: A month later, the pool thermometer and stand-alone monitor are both still working great and the batteries have not needed to be changed yet. I'm extremely happy with these!This pool thermometer is even better than I expected! You get the waterproof, floating unit for the pool that displays the pool temp in an easy-to-see size (it also comes with a cord to secure it, if you want) AND you get the monitor, which is a separate unit that wirelessly pairs with the pool thermometer. It's such a bonus to me that the monitor also displays the air temp! So you get the pool temp, the air temp, and the time. It has a handy, flip-out stand. The displays of both units can be set to Celsius or Fahrenheit, and the time can be displayed in 24 or 12 hour format.I tested the accuracy of the air temperature displayed on the monitor, and it exactly matches what our A/C thermostat says. I don't have another pool thermometer, so I can't verify the pool unit's accuracy, but it seems correct based on the exterior temperature and our bright, Florida sunshine (our pool is not heated).Other reviewers had no problem with set-up, but I did not find the instructions to be very clear. I was able to set it up in about 30 minutes, but felt unsure that it was done right. Once both units were on, I could not get them to pair, so the monitor's display of pool temp was just two dashes. I was also unsure about how to "lock" the pool unit's top. The instructions have drawings, but it was not clear to me if I was doing it correctly.I contacted the seller regarding the units not pairing and they answered very quickly and told me how to get them paired. Apparently, the order in which you set up the two units is important. They told me to remove the batteries in both units and start over, but to set up the pool unit FIRST, then set up the monitor unit. I did that, and it paired immediately.I keep the monitor in the house about 40 feet from the pool unit, and both have stayed paired and are working great.I did not deduct any stars for the pairing or difficult instructions because both may be due to my inexperience with this type of electronics, and because the seller was so responsive.This is a product I would definitely recommend and would buy again.
