Hard to beat for 150 Dollars
This Amplifier shown has attractive Wooden side panels but they only sell this model Amplifier in Black with Black Side Panels since I ordered twice and the replacement Amplifier had Black side Panels also.if there is a choice I saw no way of making a Choice - also there was no Brand Name on the Front Panel π€I bought this Amplifier to play music with while my real High End Tube Amplifier a Rogue Audio Amplifier gets upgraded.Unfortunately the Daakro 5.0 lacks several features compared to the competition - no Tone Controls or Sub Woofer input, but the Tube Covers look very attractive and it runs just slightly warm or cool compared to other Amplifiers.Once the Daakro 5.0 was set up with a Cambridge Audio AX35 CD player,my Apple Phone in Bluetooth mode, a Fosi Phono Box X4, Project Debut Carbon EVO / Sumiko Rainer Turntable combination -Note: upon Turning it on there was a slight Hum for 5 seconds but it soon disappears but its just the Circuit stabilizing - after testing several different types of Speakers by Kef, JBL, Polk, Warfdale, and comparing the Daakro 5.0 Amplifier to other Amplifiers with other Audiophiles we came to the following results : the Sound quality was clear and open, had very good detail, with back ground Music being very convincing and Audible, Brass instruments still had bite but without the Metallic harshness ,the Highs were silky and were sensitive to different Speakers - I detect low impedance on some types of speakers had a very noticeable effect - this also shows that the Daakro 5.0 is not happy with Speakers Impedance loads below 3 Ohms. - Speakers rated over 88 DB of sensitivity and 8 Ohms best suited for this Amplifier. - the Stereo Sound stage was better than most Solid State Amplifiers costing 10 times as much but it still lacked the precise stereo image placement of an all Tube Amplifier..The best Sound comes after about 20 minutes .Recommended Speakers: Klipsch 600M, Klipsch 800F, Warfdale Diamond 225, Elec UF2,0. Polk RF200, Sony SSC53, Q Acoustics 3050iI strongly suggest the manufacturer to improve the operation info and produce a proper user Booklet - the chinsy piece of info paper is simply not a representation of any thing quality.I do have a concern about no Protection or Malefaction Fuse or Fuses π€BUILD QUALITY: β β β ........ not the best but looks goodFEATURES: β β β ...... the Wooden Side Panels is just a bait in it comes with Black Panels, Lacks Tone Controls, Subwhoofer input /input - Tube Covers Look SexyDESIGN: β β β - could be improved on as a Mark 2 version - would have looked better with polished Plexiglass side panels - perhaps on the upgraded version!!BASS: β β β - as about as good as it gets for the price - a lot better than a lot of ReceiversMIDRANGE : β β β β β - 5 stars 1000 dollar Sound can be achieved by carful Source & Speaker MatchingHIGHS: β β β β β - Good to Excellent depending on Source and SpeakersSTEREO IMAGING: β β β β β - Proper Placement is the Key Here!!RETRIEVAL OF BACK GOUND MUSIC::β β β β β - surprisingly as good as good Quality components in the $ 800 - $1200 rangeVOCAL & INSTRUMENT DETAIL: β β β β - Sweet, Never Harsh, Engaging, Very Good Clarity - as good as it gets in this price rangeLIVELYNESS:β β β β - above averageOVERALL CLAIRITY: β β β β β - surprisingly very GoodOVERALL SONIC RATING:β β β β β 4.5Price vs Sound Quality Value: β β β β β Very hard to beat sonically for 120 Dollars.

Broken out of the box
Ordered for turntable setup that I was gifted for Christmas and finally went to set everything up today. Item is broken and wonβt turn on. You can hear a loose piece rattling around inside too. Will be retrieving the box from the recycling and returning this piece of crap.

What I needed but not exactly what I was expecting...
Let me explain my headline. To begin with, my feature list was simple:1. 50w+ per channel2. Bluetooth capable3. Remote controlled4. Tubes would be cool for looks and fidelity. My goal was to drive a speaker bar on my TV in my living room and use it for bluetooth streaming. To start with, build quality is decent. About what I expected for $125. It's not an aluminum can but not solid craftsmanship either. More like a tuna can with a pop top.Connnections are straight forward. 3 pairs of RCA Inputs, 2 digital inputs (Optical and Coax/RCA); L/R speaker outputs. The power cord is much shorter than the standard 6 foot length. More like 2-3 feet. The instructions are your basic 2 page Chinese type manual with a lot of information missing. I'm hoping the following will help:1. The remote is very cheap. Not very solid.2. What isn't obvious in the manual is the volume buttons only control the digital inputs (BT, optical, coax). It does not control the volume on the RCA/analog inputs.3. Max volume on the remote is set by where the volume knob is on the unit. Max number on the display is 32 and is just a number. It attenuates down from there.4. To adjust the volume requires a button press in each direction. Pressing and holding the volume button does not work.Audio is clean at high volume. However, when the unit is in standby (remote "off" but hard switch is still on) there is noise (low hum/buzz) coming from the speakers. This is the main reason it is a 4 star and not a 5.Overall it works for me and what I needed. If I can cure the noise-in-standby issue, I'll follow up.

Best buy
Cheap about 120 bucks and very nice sound. Donβt know it is last longer about 1 year or not. Because china made 100% this amplifier. Let see.
