**EDIT: The company reached out to me directly after my original review of 2 stars, and sent me yet another replacement and was very understanding and apologetic about everything. Re-reviewing this and giving them 5 stars for the kind gesture to make things right.I ordered this item 3 separate times, and when I did finally get it, it was cracked.The first order, never went through some how, it just sat in my order list saying "order received" but was never shipped out after 2 weeks so I canceled it and reordered it for the 2nd time. It went through and said to be delivered in 2 days. I checked the tracking after 2 days and I said it was delayed and will be delivered the next day. The next day, it said order was stuck at the local warehouse and could not be delivered due to severe weather in the area. (We did not have severe weather that week). After 3 days of it just sitting at the warehouse and no delivery rescheduled, I reached out to Amazon support and they said they'll have another one shipped out. So I get the replacement 2 days later.. and when I opened the box, the side of the container was cracked. I was over it at this point and just decided to keep it and super glue it.On to the actual product review. It's good. It was easy to put together and seems to be pretty sturdy. A nice storage bin for us since we dont have much space in our apartment but our patio is big. It fits 2 of my smaller coolers and could easily fit more items. Planning to keep my patio furniture cushions in there during the winter season.

I bought this on sale and am considering buying another. I absolutely recommend this deck box if you need a ton of storage, nice look, great quality, and value for price. Three adults comfortably stood inside after it was assembled, just because we could! I studied this purchase for a long time and read a ton of reviews and am so pleased it is exactly what I need and more. I plan to stop renting a small storage that keeps raising rent and I am sure everything is going to fit. Assembly was straight forward with two people, about 2 -3 hours. A beer and nice weather helped. The box is extremely sturdy, closes and opens gently, and even came with a lock. It is tall and looks great in my townhouse patio. I plan to keep it in the shade and cover with a tarp in the winter to double safeguard against water since I'm not just storing cushions.

This is a very sturdy and solid box that was easy to assemble - I was able to do most of it on my own but did need help with the lid. We've had it for almost 2 years now on our balcony on the 44th floor which gets extremely windy and it has held up well. It keeps everything inside completely dry when it rains. I love the way the lid stays open by itself so you can use 2 hands to get stuff in and out. Well worth the money.

It’s a good product, but I was expecting something sturdier (at least sturdy enough for a small ~30 pound child to stand on, as our grandkids love to climb on things) but I wouldn’t recommend more than 10 or 14 pounds on it - and while they provide the dimensions, it’s just not as big as I would hope. Photos give it a larger sense of size.It’s easy to put together, you only need 1 screwdriver for the reinforcing bar. All the pieces snap together which is fine, it’s just not as sturdy as I would like. It does have a means to lock which is nice (you will need a lock). It recommends 2 people to assemble, but honestly I was fine on my own-some.Otherwise it does the trick for what we needed (outdoor toys, folding badminton set, squirt and bubble guns, etc)

OK, so here's the Deal - after a long 6-Day Research Study online for Large Volume (200 Gallons or more) Deck Boxes - (I always try to Check Personal Reviews before purchasing anything of Meaningful Value for the Best Price/Cost; Value for the Money spent; Quality; Size; Strength/Sturdiness; Ease and Integrity of Assembly; Looks; Warranty/Life Expectancy of Product; Worthiness of what it's used for; etc..) I looked for anything in the Range of 165 Gallons to 300 Gallons, as I'm not using this Box for Pillows/Cushions, but for my Chainsaws/Accessories/Tools/Oils/Rags; and anything else that I can fit into the box Realistically. I had purchased 2 (Two) Deck Boxes previously (165 Gallon) several months ago that I used for Firewood, and I Love them - but they aren't available right now. After my lengthy search (which drove my wife nuts), I finally Chose this East Oak 230 Gallon Beauty of a Deck Box! It came in 2 Days (was supposed to be Next Day) in a Nice New Undamaged and Pretty Box! Everything in the box was Intact with Good Readable Directions and each Part Marked and Easy to Assemble! My wife and I put the Box together in just over a half hour, making Sure we did everything Right - however, it can be done easily by one (1) person in an hour pretty easily! This Box is EPIC! Strong and Sturdy Structurally and Everything Fit Like a Glove! Well Reinforced All-Around, and the Lid Lifts and Closes Smoothly! Very Good/Strong Handles on the sides. And - this Box holds All my Chainsaws and Accessories and Tools Plus Much More! I'm not sending any Pictures or Video - Just Trust me on This! I might Over-Think it sometimes, but I want the Best value for my money!

Perfect size to hold my garden supplies, so my deck is way less messy. Sturdy but lightweight. I dont know how it would hold up being moved alot but great if it will be in one place for storage. Easy to assemble, took 10 minutes. You cant tell in the pictures but the bottom is grooved so water can drain past it instead of pooling, great feature.

I got this box for the delivery guys to drop off my stuff. It's perfect for that. It's light, so I had to anchor it, but it's been fine since then. Putting it together was a breeze. It seems to be made of tough plastic. It hasn't leaked at all. Definitely worth the money, and it works great for packages. You could use it for storage too. I highly recommend it!
