This is beautiful, and packaged very nicely. It is a gift, so I haven't used it for anything, but it looks like good quality, with lovely colors and detailing.

I would most definitely recommend this mug set as a gift. It came in great shape and on time. The only issue was with the gift box it came in. The shipping label was placed on the box and tore some of the black off of it. Otherwise it was beautiful.

The paint gives a marbled effect. I have not put it in the dishwasher due to the other comments about the letter coming off. Often when there is a gold rim around a cup, I get a metallic taste in my mouth, but not with this one. Looks great
