Device is a piece of crap
The media could not be loaded. I had purchased this tv box & sent it back.Because of two reasons.Reason (1) Google play store doesn't even work:The play store is just blank, with a spinning circle.Reason (2) Bluetooth doesn't work properly. They advertise that this device is supposed to be Bluetooth 5.But it isn't.I had used a Hardware Device info app and scanned this device (which you can see the results in my screenshot)You can see the model: RUPA.TVLauncher.LGX6521S.F1010Now look down below that, to Bluetooth. It says Bluetooth version 4.So what's supposed to be with the second gen?You make a newer updated tv boxWhat's supposed to be second gen about it.You make a second gen device with old outdated bluetooth version 4.And a non working google play store. What kind of business is going to create a device & have these issues & sell them?I would think that these devices would be tested first, before releasing them on the market.Which makes me think that these people & others like them are just scammers.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------<UPDATE ON 11-13-24>After doing more research on this tv box, I came across this:This device says: "Device is not certified" in the google play store settings, under About, Play Protect certification. If you click on Fix device issue, it takes you to "Checking your device" then a message appears afterwards saying "Couldn't fix device certification issue"(I uploaded two more screenshots showing this)I did some more research online & came across this from Google saying:-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"Android is an open-source operating system and any smartphone manufacturer can modify it with their own custom software. Google allows them to customize Android, but it also wants to ensure consistency between Android devices, especially due to the security of users. So Google created the Compatibility Definition Document (CDD) which is a list of guidelines that manufacturers must follow to pass Google’s compatibility test. If a device fails in this test, it can’t ship its device with Google Play Store or other important Google apps. When manufacturers ignore this or do not pass the certification and offer some other ways to install Google apps. These devices are “üncertified” devices. Obviously, Google is not happy with this bypass method and is blocking such devices from side-loading Google apps while sending warning messages that the “device is not certified by Google.”Google sends a warning that their device is not certified by Google. The user will still be able to use the device, but they will not be able to access the Play Store. This means Google can’t ensure that the device is secure and may not send security and other updates. If you somehow managed to install Google apps, these may also not work correctly and Google can shut them down anytime. For example, the Google Messages app won’t work on uncertified devices after March 2021."---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------<When you sign into your google account on this tv box, you'll receive an email from google saying that this tv box has been recognized as a Google Pixel 5>And this is my message to you, the buyers (whomever reads this, you can make your own decision, if you want to give your money away to these scammers)

Not great.
I bought this hoping I could update my aging android TV. Unfortunately it has some rather large set-backs that make it difficult to use.First of all the good. It runs full Android and allows you to run as Root.In the good and bad: it has an IR remote, this is good because if you have a learning univeral remote you can program it to match. However, because it is IR, you don't get any of the fancy features you do with a Roku or fire stick. Mainly the input lag, secondly you need to point it right at the device for it to work, so it can't hide behind the TV.The bad: extremely slow user interface. It is actually slower than the android TV from 2016. I have found myself many times struggling to use the remote because it either wasn't responding yet, or the UI was designed for a touchscreen and I just couldn't activate that part of the screen. Finally, i does not work as a streaming device, Google will not recognize it.If you need google, get googleTV for $20 more if you don't Roku is probably the bang for the buck.If you want a hacky android thing to play with because you are a nerd like me who likes to tinker, then go for it. Your less texhnically inclined family is probably going to hate it.

Love this TV box!
I am so glad that I decided to give this Android TV box a try. I have other streaming devices connected to other TVs in my home, but wanted to try a different kind on the TV in my bedroom. I am very impressed with this little box and how easy it was to install and connect to the internet. It has a crisp and vibrant picture and with the Android 13 software there is no problems loading and watching any app from live tv to streaming movies or tv shows. I can also connect a keyboard and mouse to it to aid in the navigation and set of all of the apps that I wanted to load. It also has plenty of storage with expandable storage. I am very happy with this product and its operation.
